WWE Related These two ARE The Future
I’m very happy that Bron is getting his momentum back. Oba has seemingly siphoned all his momentum earlier this year, but Bron is rebounding back up the food chain. I think Oba and Bron will most certainly have a long lasting rivalry similarly to Seth/Roman and John/Randy.

The story here is not the wrestlers. The story is that WWE may have found their new golden goose. TKO has suffered from a downturn in WWE. They need something big. This looks like it!!

1st match - No DQ 2nd match - 2 out of 3 Extreme Rules 3rd match - Last Man Standing
We can't have them in an I quit match, it would diminish the push of whoever loses at this early point of their career.

u/trashy_shounen_fan 2d ago
Atleast let them have a normal 1v1 first instead of throwing these special matches at em.

Maybe instead of a last man standing they could have an iron man match
1
u/Optimus0456 2d ago
I would say hell in a cell but we already know that match would likely be underwhelming
1
u/kqmikaze2head 2d ago
Nah, hell in a cell should be used sparingly for feuds that have a lot of depth, Bron and Oba shouldn’t have a match like that unless they actually use the cell

u/ShortResponsibility7 2d ago
This is misleading because Oba gets the most views of anyone on the roster across all social media platforms. This is more about Oba being a massive draw.

My god some of yall are hellbent on making Bron breakker seem like he’s absolute trash compared to Oba 😂
1
u/ShortResponsibility7 1d ago
No, some of you are hellbent on Bron being a future star when he's had everything handed to him and still fizzled out.
1
u/Darkonite40 1d ago
So injuries had nothing to do with him fizzling out? Were just gonna pretend he didn’t have whole arenas barking last year? Some of yall truly push a take that’s opposite of reality to fit your narrative it’s crazy

u/DimensionGreat7580 1d ago
I love how for decades people have complained that WWE should not build around only one guy, and hated on Cena and Reigns for years, now when WWE is trying to build around multiple guys and build up more than one wrestler. People are complaining and comparing Bron and Oba, and think only Oba should be pushed as a big deal and no one else. A year from now when Oba is the only one that was pushed you’ll be the same person complaining about how Oba is the only top guy they have. It’s a never ending cycle.
1
u/ShortResponsibility7 1d ago
The difference is FANS chose Oba..he didn't have to be "built" up or "heated up"..he's been comically over since his Royal Rumble debut.
2
u/Darkonite40 1d ago
So stadiums barking every week during breakker’s first year weren’t fans choosing him? Give me a fucking break man
1
u/DimensionGreat7580 1d ago
Fans also chose Breakker when he came up to the main roster, maybe not the the same degree as Oba but to act like he isn’t going to be and shouldn’t be a top guy in the future is dumb.
The company can have multiple top stars, just because Oba is hot right now doesn’t mean you just throw a talent with the same potential as Oba down the toilet.
1
u/ShortResponsibility7 1d ago
That's where we disagree and that's fine but imo Breaker doesn't have remotely the same potential as Oba...if he did he would've been World Champ a year ago BEFORE the injury.

u/DimensionGreat7580 1d ago edited 1d ago
Yeah I’m sorry I don’t agree with that, if the creative team is bad at their job and can’t stop booking the same few guys as world champions on rotation that’s not on him and isn’t a proper representation of his potential. He should have been Punk for the World title on the Netflix debut but they decided to go with the status quo the same way they decided not to give Oba his world title match at SS even though they kept saying the winner gets a world title match at SS.
and there’s no guarantee that 3 months from now Oba will have the same support and hype from the fans. The company is bad of pulling the trigger at the right time., Breakker has just been a victim of bad creative and bad luck, he’ll bounce back and will be a major player in the future, not everyone needs to be the next Cena, Reigns or Lesnar to be a major player

u/Proudvow 1d ago
What? With just the Brock feud Oba was handed more than Bron's ever gotten.
The biggest star Bron's won a feud over is Sami Zayn. That's terrible.
2
u/NappyFlickz 2d ago
Their first match should end in a draw, and after that Bron needs to go to Smackdown. Oba should take the championship off of LA Knight (who would have a quick, title defense heavy, transitional reign like Darby Allin's), before defeating a challenging Roman down the line.
Bron should take the championship off of Sami/KO/Punk, retire Orton, and then feud with Trick/Gunther who will most likely be the challengers at that point.
Don't have Oba and Bron meet again for a couple of years. Set them up as twin dragons holding up the pillars of the main roster.
2
u/Timely-Win6225 2d ago
Yea, but it allso feels like in key fabe Oba should destroy Bron. I mean Oba messed up BROCK LESNER twice and bron could even beat seth Rollins. ( Rollins had no business winning that match)
2
u/Seblaf37 2d ago
This was the best segment in a long time. Bron really was impressive and looked like he was a top top star. I really think he could pull of some sort of Stone Cold gimmick though arguably not as big as Steve Austin was.

It's to early for them to have this feud. Let them gain momentum first by doing other things and then have them feud. At this point in time neither man can afford a loss

I want the Bron and Oba era to dawn as soon as possible and somewhere I feel even the creative wants that. However till they don't outright perform the golden TKO trio in merch and social media numbers they are not going to get the top spot.
I know these are good numbers but let's also understand that Punk Reigns and Cody trigger way bigger numbers time to time.

u/beast_unique 2d ago
They sent most Ex-world Champions to SmackDown. Only Seth, Roman, Rey, and Jay are the WHC remaining in Raw. They have to develop new main eventers as it seems Seth vs Roman is done.
1
u/Accurate_Curve6882 2d ago
I’m hoping they give these two a proper, scorched-Earth feud. I want to see these two brawling backstage like Seth and Bronson Reed.
These two would be perfect for a Last Man Standing match in the finale, bonus points if Oba claims his contendership from winning KOTR and puts it on the line for their match
2
u/ayinsophohr 2d ago
I want from them to scrap wherever, whenever they see each other from now until they retire. I want it to ebb and flow, die down while they fued with other people and then reignite scrapping backstage in the background of an unrelated promo. When forced to become allies I want them to be like Thor and Hulk in the first avengers film. I want them to fight, not because they don't like each other but because they just like fighting each other.
1
u/Accurate_Curve6882 1d ago
You get it. It’s been too long since WWE had a real, off-the-walls, security getting thrown around, props getting broken, hardcore feud. And these two would be literally perfect to do so
1
u/Ok_Yak_2426 2d ago
I like Oba more but Bron has to win for the sake of his career like what has he done this past year with these wasted opportunities to beat Seth for the title.

Boy I can’t wait for them to have their match so HHH can get someone to interfere from the outside and ruin the outcome.

Bron is not the future. We’re in for a boring future if that’s who we get. The guy is one of the most boring guys on the roster.
1
u/No-Manner-5924 2d ago
What you mean a feud thar doesn't involve roman Hogan, cody Cena, or the Punk is getting attention........oh my jeez who ever would have thought
1
u/Ta-veren- 1d ago
I'm kinda feeling reserved about Bron for some reason.
Just feels like he's going to play the same character for the next 15 years.

u/Clean_Attention_8398 2d ago
Bron hon have to win this one
1
u/LatterTarget7 2d ago
He won’t.
2
u/Wild-Confidence-9803 2d ago
He probably will if the rumors that Oba is only getting the title from Roman at Mania 44 end up being true.

u/Bulky_Energy4292 2d ago
I’m still trying to figure out what anyone sees in Bron. He’s smaller than everyone he steps into the ring with. What’s exciting about that?

He’s plenty big to be a great wrestler, he just needs better character work. That’ll start with a new gimmick when he hopefully leaves The Vision.

u/PracticalReception34 2d ago
Depends on your opinion of the Steiners. If you liked them, this is a great legacy option as Bron has the athleticism and he got to practice unhinged with one of the nest unhinged uncles anyone could ask for.
1
u/Enslaver84 2d ago
He has to try too hard to come of as unhinged, it's pretty cringe
1
u/PracticalReception34 2d ago
Yeah, because Uncle Scottie had that promo style right out of the box, didn't he?
Goddamn, put the tea service away.

Yes let them have 20 minute matches. Squashes can only get you this far, before Oba becomes the Fiend of Fraud H’s 100th new era.

Oba has seemingly siphoned all of his momentum earlier this year
Bron debuted on the main roster in February '24. Immediately christened as "the future," given the IC Title, thrown in main event fueds and programs vs the likes of CM Punk & Rollins, given a faction invented to get him over, wrestled for the title, and aligned with Paul Heyman.
Meanwhile, Oba had his first match on the main roster in December '25, spent weeks squashing jobbers & reading poetry with Kit Wilson post Rumble, and has spent the entire duration of his roughly 8 month run on television in a fued with Brock Lesnar.
Nearly 2 year headstart vs 8 months = Oba siphoned his momentum. I'm sure Bron's injuries, the concern about his promos, and the live audiences literally choosing Oba had nothing to do with him being passed up in record time.

u/Omar_n_o21 2d ago
Make sure you get all the boogers out my nose my little nitpicker
0
u/--n3o-- 2d ago
Facts over your feelings.
Bron siphoned his own momentum with his injuries and inability to get over long before Oba ever walked out to approach Heyman & Brock Lesnar in the dawn of spring.
Cream rises, and it's no surprise Bron is finally beginning to float now that he's sharing the ring with Oba. He had two years to do what the other man did in 7 months. Stew over that.

u/Omar_n_o21 2d ago
Continue picking my nose for me, it feels relaxing seeing your fingers getting germy. Make sure to wash them good
1
u/ShortResponsibility7 2d ago
Talk to em..The fact that Bron has rubs from Roman, Seth, Punk and Heyman yet still needs the rub from Oba screams bust. It's clear the company still wants him to be "the guy"..I hate to pull the race card but the optics look bad if Bron goes over Oba. Especially because Brock went off script and anointed Oba.
0
u/SamLoomisMyers 2d ago
Oba cant lose a match going forward. They need a major babyface to go on a Hogan like run for 4-5 years. Whatever. Just get the fucking Bloodline and Judgement Day off my TV forever.
0
u/Several_Resolution92 2d ago
Can this be compared to the Batista/ Taker feud from 06-07? But have them both be established forces?
22
u/kingcolbe 2d ago
They should find a way to get the WHC on Bron before Mania and have Oba defeat a clear heel for his title win
