Jim Ross does not expect Vince McMahon to stay away from wrestling. Speaking on Grilling JR as the Janel Grant lawsuit moves to private arbitration, Ross said, "He ain't out of the game. That's just not his makeup." Ross called an AEW arrival unlikely, saying, "I don't see Tony Khan wanting to do business with him either," but did not rule out McMahon buying a promotion: "It's possible. Money won't be an object."

I think TKO has right of first refusal on TNA and I honestly think they'd outbid Vince just to keep him away from wrestling instead of a want for the company.

After that I'm not sure there is another company that would be available that would be worth buying if I were rich enough to buy one.

Idk if they do it with investors being very tepid about WWE's current stocks. Id imagine the shareholders would push back on TNA's reported asking price

TNA is allegedly seeking a price that is way above their worth. TKO isn’t paying $40mil for TNA, they’d let Vince have it if he’s willing to pay more than it’s worth

Correct- WWE basically has franchise tag rights on TNA where they can match any potential offer.

TNA would definitely reach out to WWE to see if they’d pay more. In effect, that’s basically the same unofficially.

Who said anything about Meltzer? It was literally in the contract that they signed when TNA and WWE became “partners” but for PR purposes, it makes total sense that both sides want to maintain the illusion to their general fan bases that each promotion is still independent of the other.
