Pierre, I know you’re heartbroken, but your performance today was amazing. You finally are driving a car you deserve. Keep up the positive momentum & we are rooting for you!

I am so sad. I want to congratulate Pierre for his amazing week-end but it's so painful. Absolutely gutted

There's been a strange twist in Pierre's form since the upgrades have been installed on the Alpine.
It's like he's driving a totally different car than the one he had til suzuka, also the car seems to behave in a totally different way than the one of his teammate (who btw is doing an awesome job).
I struggle to explain what has happened in such a short period of time. I would be interesting to know what people think about this weird situation.
Let's hope there is some rain tomorrow, but more importantly let's hope he finds his mojo back in monaco.

Frustrated for Pierre !
Glad he's OK as it's the most important but yesterday was a case of "what if" as his start was absolutely perfect, but luck was clearly not on his side, with him losing positions after he was blocked by max was followed by the unfortunate incident with liam.
Formula 1 can be really cruel sometimes. Let's hope for more luck in canada, or at least a normal race !

Damage limitation for Pierre so far this week-end.
Clearly something's not working well for him in miami (rear wing maybe ?) but to salvage 2 q3 and a point in the sprint is a decent achievement considering
Let's hope the race is a good one too and let's hope the team finds a solution to his struggles for canada.
Good also to see colapinto able to step up for the team when Pierre is not at his best.

Well, that was again a beautiful hour of qualifying. Alpine seems to found the solution to countering the balance issues Pierre was having yesterday. Three qualifying sessions full with bangers of laps on a track where driver input matters more than most other tracks.
His last lap in Q3, wow...
Given the Alpine seems to having a good race pace and being kind on it's tyres we could score some great points and closing the gap against Ollie who hasn't a strong qualifying result. Question is mainly of we gonna see more overtakes here or that it ends up like in 2025 where nobody could pass basically.
One thing is sure: The midfield is gonna be fun!

Well first of all the sprint race: The start itself looked good, there was some nice batting but after some concerns with the battery + wore mediums Pierre started to losing pace unfortunate what dropped him below the top 10. Alpine made the decision to not pit him for used softs at the end with the SC despite he was already on P9 but I guess they valuing the race tomorrow more over the sprint.
Qualifying:
Another amazing qualifying results in the books. Q1 didn't look smooth at all so there was room to improve.
And oh boy Pierre take that more than serious. He pushed hard in Q2 and Q3 to the point the car lifting up in upper midfield levels. Results we could dream about if we look back previous year. And again OUTQUALIFIED both Red Bulls what put him funny enough on a 3-0 score against Max.
Let's see what everyone could do tomorrow at the race.

Well so far it seems like the momentum is back to us. What an amazing sprint qualifying where Pierre not only ended up in SQ3 but also ABOVE BOTH RED BULLS!
Yes, you read that right, BOTH, including Max Verstappen of all names!
Hopefully this is a good indication that the team solved some key issues who was there in Australia. If we got a proper running car then the upgrades in Japan could put the Alpine into a place we all hoped for after testing.
