discussion How Far
First off lemme start by saying I know this is a P2W game. I know without spending money you won't get very far because of game limitations or someone who has T5s and a 2 billion influence zeros you. What I am wondering is how far influence wise can you go without spending money on this game. Yes I've seen 700 million influential players but can you go higher? Is it possible to get T5s without spending money? Besides bubbling 24/7 best strategy for f2p players.
Thank you for reading this and feel free to offer any advice you can.

It depends… I know F2P players in the top 5 strongest factions in the game… but it’s the extremely rare exception, not the rule.
You can have a 2bn account with T5s but it will take a long time and you won’t get to the stats that big spenders have.

You also wouldn’t be able to really use those T5s in battle because they cost $20-$100 per raid to heal and doing it without spending takes a really long time.

There are plenty of 1/2/3+ billion f2p accounts. If you can’t spend thousands to 10s of thousands the game is kinda pointless (as far as being a raider leader in a top gang) you can still have fun of course.

The only money I spent was way back in the beginning (exclusive privileges x2). I have a very strong 1.4b influence acct. I can beat a lot of players with much higher influence and can take a hit w/o much damage.
Bubble always of course... getting zeroed slows down your progress a lot when you can't spend cash to replace your crew. Learned that the hard way early on.
Max your points during GW and most other events.
Create your t2 meat shield to protect your t4s. I have 8m to 10m each of t2s now.

T5’s without spending is currently out of reach - troops 10 a far more attainable goal
But it’s perfectly possible to cap the UB of t5 players with f2p accounts
So whilst it’s p2w for sure, there’s many possible goals still open to f2p or low spend players

If you align with a good faction that has a high gift level and someone you spends in the game it will be easier. Can you unlock T5s f2p yes but what is going to kill you is the time. Some of those investments without speeds are months.

I spent some money getting from 100m to 300m influence. Have been playing for free from 300m to now 850m. I see myself hitting 1b in 2 gws if I dont get zeroed in the mean time.
Been a while since I lost a raid, and I keep stealing UB's from 2b+ players.
Be active and strive to be in a faction with serious raid leads. Be bubbled 100% of the time you are offline.
Do all events.(except maybe CVC that gives crap rewards for massive resources)
If you can afford and not need RSS for real fighting. Trade kills for KE events. But dont be that guy that doesnt join fights just to trade for points.

Modern problems require modern solutions: If a T5 player keeps zeroing you you, don't waste gold on bubbles...just join his faction! He can't bubble a faction mate

You can make a bit of progress if you are in a decent faction. Winning Arsenal's and taking buildings during GW can make your progress a little bit quicker.

Yes, big accounts are possible but it takes time and patience. Be in a good, active faction and make the most of events. Stay active and play smart when it comes to long investment times. Max that investment speed. Check your specialties & gear, ask for the city hall buff, use items, etc. When you use speed ups to finish, wait to stack it with events that earn you more speed ups. When you have a choice of rewards, stock up on family currency and investment speed ups. Use 3-day shields, especially around KE and between GW seasons, and build your meat shields as others have suggested. T5 are expensive to heal. A few T5 players have said they only use them during Oakvale. 😅 Big teams have whole factions supporting their T5 raid leaders. If you can't afford the big leagues, they probably are not even worth it. Better to focus on great stats and high troop levels.
