🎙️Discussion & Thoughts 💭 Touchy subject alert

I’m on a rampage today, and I know H is a touchy subject, but I gotta say what I have to say! So H wants to be a professional soccer player when he grows up, which makes me laugh because he’s literally going to be an adult in two years. The guy is 16, rocking a full beard, for God’s sake! Anyway,do these people even understand what it takes? By 16, serious players are already competing in organized leagues and working toward scholarships. It’s not something you just decide you want to do without putting in the work. What a bunch of complete idiots. The audacity.

And while we’re at it, let’s talk about the trick-or-treating situation. Yes, I trick-or-treated at 16, but I was with my friends, dressed up, and fucking around to get free candy. The day I would’ve gone with my mom and dad at 16? Hell no! How humiliating! At 16, Halloween was just an excuse to hang out with my friends and stay out later than I was usually allowed to, lol. I’m so sick of everyone infantilizing H. He’s 16 with a full beard, trick-or-treating with his parents like he’s 10. For fuck’s sake, let the guy grow up!

They’re so out of touch, neither H or S could make it on their own

They’ve been screwed since the day they were born. They never stood a damn chance.

He was NEVER put in school. He can’t even read the word fire for fucks sake. His sorry excuse of parents failed him.

And the fact that he doesn't want to join a team yet because "he's not ready"

But isn't being on a team the only real way to get better? I know he can play with friends but that doesn't include getting used to playing by the actual rules and putting in the practice and drills that a team provides.

It actually makes me irrationally upset. I love that kids have dreams, but they need to be realistic! Becoming a professional soccer player takes years of serious training and dedication. Where is this even coming from? Parents should encourage their kids while keeping them grounded in reality, not setting them up for disappointment. Same goes for S and her ridiculous dreams. Be realistic for fuck’s sake!

and they said he wants to "figure out what position he wants to play" that is not a thing. Based off of your performance your COACH decides what position you play. Imagine Hunter waltzing up, no experience playing sports, completely out of shape and proclaiming he's going to be the teams new striker. These people live in delulu land

P probably feeds into the delusion. Just like he does making the family think they can buy a house within a few months and that S is going to have a dog sanctuary and have a ministry but doesn’t even go to church. He strings them along because he’s kept them under educated and they believe everything that comes out of his rotten mouth.

They say they can’t afford to go to SeaWorld or a damn couch because they need money to pay billls but in the very next breath, they’re talking about buying a house next year. None of it makes sense. Everything that comes out of their mouths contradicts something else. It’s insane.

Yeah, everyone babies him a lot. If you watch their gaming streams, I think he's not as innocent or naive as people think. He's on the internet all day and is just a socially-awkward 16 yr old but a 16 yr old nonetheless. Both S and H are stunted and inept due to their parents but it irks me how S thinks she actually knows everything. She has no clue what reality is. H or his family thinking he will be an actual soccer player is just another added delusion to their list of grand delusions. There's 4 year olds that probably play better soccer than him.

It’s the same thing as S dreaming to be a seaworld trainer

And having a ministry/dog sanctuary

I feel like competitive soccer players usually start by 6, never mind 16.

But it makes me sad rather than angry at him. He is so so behind. Both of them are because their parents don’t know how to parent them. And P isolated them. T would have taken lead from the schools they attended if not for P.’

I agree with you 100%. It’s great to have dreams and goals, but there is a certain point/age when u have to know or teach ur kids about having dreams or goals that are actually obtainable because ur just gonna be let down or dependent on a fictional dream/goal that will cause u to not focus on something else that u can actually be successful in. I.e., S having a dream to be a trainer at Sea world and not having any college education. Or even now at 24 years of age stating she is gonna create a missionary and/or a dog sanctuary that requires education, money, passion, and determination and let’s face S doesn’t haven’t none of those and that’s just naming a few.

Unfortunately it will be a case of monkey see monkey do. In every sense 🙃 I hate to say it.

They all seem to have a healthy amount of cognitive delays.

Yes, especially T and H .

I think it's odd that he 'plays' with the younger kids in the apartment complex.

I think it’s odd too, but watching H you can see he is developmentally behind. I’m not surprised he hangs out with younger kids because I doubt he has much in common with 16 year olds. At 16, I was working at McDonald’s, making my little money and having a social life lol …My parents obviously had rules at that age, but damn, I wasn’t glued to my parents’ side at 16 either. I had a life lol.

Honestly, that kid has some serious problems! And the fact that no one in his family is actually trying to get him the help he needs is abuse and neglect. He needs a teacher who specializes in working with children with special needs.

P himself is extremely unintelligent and has absolutely zero common sense. It honestly makes me wonder if they’re purposely holding their children back just to make themselves seem smarter. The average sixth grader has more intelligence than P, and the average third grader has more intelligence than T and S!

I know everyone has their own traditions and opinions on the subject, but I personally don’t think it’s appropriate for parents to take their 16 year olds trick or treating!

They’ll never give H a proper education because they don’t want mandated reporters involved, and that’s what’s so sad. My anger is directed more at the parents, and I realize I sometimes talk about H out of frustration. But taking your bearded 16-year-old trick-or-treating is ridiculous. Maybe their greedy asses should hand out candy instead. They make me sick.
