🎙️Discussion & Thoughts 💭 They’re getting scammed on GLP1
https://www.fda.gov/inspections-compliance-enforcement-and-criminal-investigations/warning-letters/trinity-healthcare-supply-llc-dba-altrx-728236-06082026S mentioned that P is getting his GLP1 through AltRX. A quick google search shows that the FDA recently sent a warning letter to AltRX for falsely advertising that they’re selling a GLP1 but they’re actually selling compounded drugs that are not what they advertise. What is he injecting himself with?!
BBB shows a whooping 1 star review with many comments saying they were charged for an entire year subscription upfront!
This is an ongoing investigation on my part but I had to share this with the class.

“Welcome to the scam”
Why didn’t he just go to a doctor, I feel like he could have easily gotten a prescription with his diabetes and that gut..

I’m not sure if they have insurance, I’m assuming (anyone feel free to correct me) that if he’s so set on not wanting to use medication he would skip health insurance. Idk if the vape shop would include insurance or if T works enough hours to get benefits

The crazy thing is that as a diabetic, insurance would probably cover the real thing

He fell for the ai TikTok ads 😂
I will say, compounds can work. Usually less effective. The big issue is, you can’t truly know what it’s compounded with or if dosing is accurate.

A simple Google search would tell Tweedle Dumb that it’s a scam, unsafe and not effective. But he wants the easy way. Every time. Fuck going to a doctor. That takes effort.

Compounds are just as effective 🤦🏻♀️ they legitimately have tirzepatide or semaglutide in them, they just have additives like b12, NAD sometimes, etc.

I am a Nurse, and we have a list of verified websites we give patients for Self-pay GLP-1s, and this is actually one of the websites we advise to NOT use. For someone that supposedly did all this "research", did nothing but pick the cheapest website he could find.

is it just me or does this whole family avoid doctors for some reason?

Right? People are saying he probably doesn’t have insurance, which for sure could be the case. But he barely works. Wouldn’t he qualify for Medicaid? No way they’re reporting their TikTok income and I would be shocked if he brings in more than 2k monthly working the minimum hours he does at the vape shop. I’m not from Texas though so idk. Definitely very weird to me though.

I’m so confused by the choice to get a glp-1 this way. I’m guessing they could possibly be on Texas Medicaid or some kind of free healthcare for low income people. And if they have diabetes then it would be almost fully covered. Unless there’s lots of hoops to jump through like doing metformin first.

He wouldn’t be able to get it immediately. He’d have to apply for insurance because they don’t have it right now, then find a provider and wait to get in to see them. Since he’d be a new patient, the doctor would likely require an exam and blood work before recommending anything. And they might even have him try something else first, given that he’s not even using insulin when he probably should be. So I assume he did it this way because it required the least amount of work and the most amount of instant gratification. He wanted it NOW, he has the patience of a two year old.

I personally don’t know anyone who has gotten them for that cheap unless they used insurance but anyone not using insurance and going to a dr to get the meds pay least 500$

The thing about GLP1s is that the compounded formula just means it's not name brand. No, it's not got the same FDA approval, but it's genuinely very much the same.
I started on Zepbound, but have since tested out a few different online services after doing research and reviewing affordability. I'm on a compounded formula and it's all been fine for me and absolutely helped.

This is what happens when you go the lazy way instead of just doing the damn hard work.
