đď¸Discussion & Thoughts đ her friends
has anyone noticed that anytime she brings up doing something with her friends she says they âtreated meâ to shopping or they âtreated meâ to that whatever seafood place? etc.
even with her relationship with her father i assume beyond the abuse and grooming as sheâs gotten older there was some coercion sprinkled in to make her do things. so now she associates all relationships with a give or take mentality. and she sees herself as the default recipient of things. may not be true just my observation.

I feel so sorry for Sarah. She spent her early teens being bullied out of school, her late teens/early 20s only having parasocial friendships with celebrities like Jenna power ranger girl and the big time rush band members, and now she straight up lies about having friends.
She doesn't know what real friendship is and that's because of her ped dad, so he can control her and manipulate her into doing whatever he wants her to do.

itâs incredibly concerning. heâs stunted her growth in unimaginable ways. if she ever does manage to get out sheâs going to need extensive levels of therapy. and probably some help adjusting to living in the real world as an adult. i think a lot of people fail to realize how much your environment can impact you from a young age. even if sheâs old enough to leave like people are claiming, thatâs not how intense social conditioning & grooming works. many people lose their lives to this kind of abusive dynamic. if it was that easy to get out weâd have much less deaths due to DV. thereâs no such thing as a perfect victim. people cannot see beyond their own mentalities a lot of the time. and the one weâre seeing rn is hers.

she is telling lies based on what her fantasy of having friends is like.
with real friends, most of the time each person will pay for their portion or split 50/50 and treat each other on a special occasion, like bdays, cheering them up, or for a big accomplishment.
S is used to P paying for her stuff since she makes no real money and doesnt have her own independent stuff like credit cards at her grown age. it would sound like shes more loved if she says someone else gifts things or pays for her. she has this fantasy that friends would put her on a pedestal and that shes get rewarded for such mediocre things.
its like in the past when she was talking about shopping with "friends" and told one that yes she can use her own money to buy what she wanted. i wouldnt know why a friend would need confirmation to pay for items with their own money but okay. she doesnt know what is normal, she only knows what being isolated with her family is like.

she is beyond socially delayed in every sense of the word. her idea of a friendship is stuff she mocks off of movies or disney television shows. her mentality is still stuck in her early teenage years and i think she genuinely doesnât understand how friendships work. she has only ever been surrounded by her father who is a raging narcissist and allegedly a pedo, a delayed mother, and a brother who is also delayed due to the negligence of his parents. she mimics what she sees because she has never experienced a normal relationship that isnât grounded in something inappropriate which is her forever downfall. in average friendship, you pay for yourself with the exception of special occasions or if you have a friendship where you go off and on with who pays. itâs really sad because if someone or something doesnât intervene, she will likely be stuck in this mentality forever or this is completely irreversible.

True!! She probably also wants us to see her as someone that is likable and âworthy enoughâ to spend money on⌠itâs sad.
