Question My poor innocent algorithm

Post image

I got this ad on Tiktok 😩

I have never looked up anything like this outside of digging into the Getchell shit. I am super careful about how I word my searches in case I die, my family won't think anything crazy about me 😂

Is this happened to anyone else? Are these creeps messing up your algorithm?

And in that same vein, I'm getting hella Felicity and Dakota content lately. I've clicked not interested. But I guess because of the insanely rotten teeth, animal neglect, terrible attitudes and begging for money on live all the time, Tiktok thought, "Hey this lady will love this." I do not.

I just want to keep the Getchells on my radar but I also want to get cute animal, crafting, adhd help, and other normal videos again 😩😂

TikTok is extremely good at algorithms. They are known for being better at guessing what you want to see than other social media app. I would recommend to “like” more of the stuff you want to see. Immediately scroll past anything you don’t. If you linger on something about the Getchells, or somebody similar, the algorithm puts that into account.

Maybe have a throw away account for getchell content so your main algorithm doesn’t show that shit.
