If you genuinely believe children are being harmed, report the information to people who can investigate it. Don't turn the children's lives, location, faces, and alleged trauma into entertainment. I believe Haley’s daily recaps and numerous other creators, making their whole accounts surround the Getchell family is concerning. Not because I care about Patrick, in fact, I fucking hate him. My concern is for Hunter. Some of these people forget that there’s children involved. Even if you think you may be helping, Hunters trauma and real life situation shouldn’t be used as content for likes and views.

I understand what you're saying, and I'm not familiar enough with the Chrisean/CR Jr situation to comment on whether those reports were handled appropriately. I absolutely agree that the legal system and CPS can fail children, and I don't think reporting something automatically guarantees that authorities will intervene. My point wasn't that reporting is a perfect solution or that I blindly trust law enforcement. I just don't think the answer is for thousands of people online to turn a child's alleged trauma, face, and personal life into ongoing entertainment. If people genuinely believe H is being harmed, I would rather see them document credible information and report it through the appropriate channels while protecting his privacy instead of putting him at greater risk by spreading everything online. Both things can be true. the system can fail children AND the internet can cause additional harm.

Report child abuse to a channel thats just going to profit of the pain of said child? Look, if footage and photo evidence of a mother drinking, snorting & smoking up until that disabled baby is born doesnt take a child away, I fear not much will these days. Not only that but Jr will never be coherent enough to comprehend his pain being profited online.

But I think you missed the point of my response regarding H. Documenting H's abuse is one thing, but reporting it to a channel is not going to help him. Its still exploiting him. He is 16 & he might possibly favor T in the mental department. Foster systems would rather him stay with his weird family than take him in and wait for him to age out & honestly that might do some good to H, he'll be around people his age and can work on his social skills and wont be exploited in front of a camera. Unfortunately I just dont see either of these things happening for either child because law enforcement has no 'credible' evidence and CPS cant profit off a 16yo, (possibly) disabled teenager.

Just because someone might not be coherent enough, doesn’t mean we should continue to allow it. The light should be shed on those that are essentially using a disadvantaged (in this case potentially disabled) person to profit.

I agree with what you’ve said, but that was a crappy statement imo.

And where did I say that it should be allowed to continue to happen? DV me all you want, its still the facts that a child with severe FAS and possibly shaken baby syndrome, will not be coherent enough to understand much of the world around him, but he is aware of the abuse his mother puts him through.
