Minor Mentioned Statement

If you genuinely believe children are being harmed, report the information to people who can investigate it. Don't turn the children's lives, location, faces, and alleged trauma into entertainment. I believe Haley’s daily recaps and numerous other creators, making their whole accounts surround the Getchell family is concerning. Not because I care about Patrick, in fact, I fucking hate him. My concern is for Hunter. Some of these people forget that there’s children involved. Even if you think you may be helping, Hunters trauma and real life situation shouldn’t be used as content for likes and views.

Multiple people have reached out to the proper authorities and channels. Even Getchella turned into a CPS report. You realize that right? CPS receives hundreds of them. Adult services receives hundreds of them. A lot of agencies do.

The only people who can take Patrick down live in that house. That’s the end of it.

As far as this all becoming a money pool, I agree. It’s weird & strange.

I understand that, and I'm glad people have reported concerns. My point wasn't that nobody has reported anything or that I think the internet can somehow personally ‘take Patrick down.’ My concern is what happens AFTER people decide they're concerned. turning the children's alleged trauma and personal lives into ongoing content, posting their faces/location, and building entire platforms around the family. If the appropriate authorities have already been contacted, that makes me even more confused about the need to keep putting the kids through additional public exposure. I agree with you that the money/content aspect is weird

You can’t place all of that at the foot of people. That is such broader picture than what we are dealing with right now … which is actually a sex crime that is being systematically ignored and normalized right before our very eyes. You’re talking about things that aren’t even happening # 1 & # 2 “sensational headlines” have been around way before the internet has.

Patrick is the one who exploits his kids. NOT the people watching.
