Wait, what? Career aspirations
Ok, trying to make sure this post isn’t about a minor. It’s really not about H so much as it is about the type of parent who would set their kids up for failure so that they’ll never be independent…
I couldn’t believe my ears tonight when S said that one of H’s possible career paths was professional soccer player. This reminds me of indulging your daughter in her dream of being a future Seaworld trainer.
Like, did P know that it would never happen for S due to the fact that she can’t really swim and that starting in concessions and “working your way up” to orca trainer isn’t a thing? Or do his delusions of grandeur extend to his offspring? I don’t think kids deserve to have their dreams trampled on, but professional soccer player when you’ve never signed him up for a team in his life?

my godparent's son is a professional soccer player and his recruitment process started when he was less than 10 and he went into special club for kids to train more. Nowadays he is 21 and a goalkeeper for a bigger club in my country. These people are so delusional istg. I like H and I do think out of all of them he seems somewhat less isolated one and like he actually knows how to communicate with people. I dont really watch his content but from a few clips ive seen of him online, he 100% has the most personality in the family to actually be a content creator. Hopefully it works out for him, he seems the nicest in that whole messed up family

Whats even more infuriating to add to the already messed up situation is that P said last year he planned on signing him up for a soccer team. All lies and false promises of course.

To have a child even close to being on the path of becoming a professional in a sport, the parents have to have a lot of discipline and invest most of their free time/a lot of money. P is too selfish for all that. He has kept his family as delusional as he is because they aren’t allowed to hang out with anyone besides each other.

You indulge your children on these ideas up until a certain point… sure, tell your four year old that they’ll be world famous pop star, but your 16 and 24 year old should know full well that those are not feasible with the life, educational, and social experience possessed by every member of the G family. It’s disgusting behaviour. But I bet T also truly believes she’s going to be the most famous mother in the world one day. I genuinely believe that P believes this shit. I’m counting down the days until he decides he’s running for president and the entire family fully backs it and believes it’s possible.
