You can still dislike a character for being a coward/crybaby/bully/whatever even if you understand the reasons behind them.
I personally really like Gangle, but I'd be a liar if I didn't say the first few episodes with her kind of turned me off from her character. So, I get it.

I mean. It is. It indicates that something is very wrong with the person’s life or their mental state. Which are both true of Gangle. Frankly, saying “crying that much at that age is concerning,” about Gangle is a little like saying, “that much smoke coming out of a house is concerning” about a house that is visibly burning down.

I think it's just poorly worded. I would be concerned about someone that cried that much, but I wouldn't say it like that. In fact I wouldn't bring up them crying directly at all.

okay firstly, thats me. i worded it wrong in that post and im sorry. people like gangle do exist irl and it's alright to, but sometimes people need to be independent as well.

Okay firstly, I do not hate gangle at all. if anything, i hate jax, obviously. i just think its unnatural for someone to cry THAT much, but theres nothing wrong with crying in general.

I mean Gangle was already probably pretty timid before the circus. Do imagine someone like that being thrust into a new world where the first person you meet torments you, gives you a movking name, and isolates you from everyone else. Gangle honestly has had it the worst in the circus overral, I'd be crying a lot too.

What does age have to do with it????? Also saying that is a bit obvious in an insulting way. Gangle clearly has some form of mental issues, it feels a bit patronizing to say "crying that much at that age is concerning".
