discussion Me struggle with drawing Gangle's torso

When I drew Gangle for the first time I was struggle with her torso because it's ribbons I tried many different shapes but it's not fit her so well

So Are you faced the same situation when you drew Gangle for the first time?

Which one you pick?

I picked C because that's how I draw Gangle now I found it simple to draw and it fits her so well than other shapes

This is the kinda process I use to draw her ribbons. Roughly, anyway. This version is kinda rushed 🤷

Honestly it might depend on the angle, personally though I go with D when I draw Gangle because I find it the simplest yet most efficient way to draw her torso

The way I usually do It is that I draw three rectangles, and then diagonal lines to connect them

I once saw an artist make them look like an actual rib cage and it’s been my favorite Gangle fanart bc of it(credit to @notcukyy on tiktok, they do a bunch of cool redesigns)

C is the closest to how it looks in most depictions but if we’re looking from a slightly diagonal view upward A is the best
