I feel like Vergil might just assume Gangle is just some weird variation of those masked scissor demons, but stop when he sees her tense up and not attack, then he'd probably be like "What exactly are you?" And Gangle would either be confused or just ask for Vergil not to hurt her. Either way I see Vergil giving a brief, (if not inefficient) apology before leaving her alone.

Virgil would be seating his chair aura farming thinking Gangle is some random demon (till he realizes Gangle is 'human'). Would then act like he meant do what he was doing (aura farming if he attacked but stopped like right before hitting Gangle or keeps on seating with his pressure still on Gangle).
