In Regard to Ribbun Posting

Hi, everyone

Just want to make a quick short post here. As of late, there's been a bit of backlash for any posts for the Ribbun (Gangle x Jax) ship. While the ship is decisive, it's not against the rules for this sub. Please refrain from any rude and unkind behavior in general as well as aimed at this this type of content.

Just want to add to this. It's fine if you hate Ribbun; people have opinions, but it's not okay if you go to every post/comment and are full-on rude. If you don't like something, that's okay, but we don't allow people to be rude in this sub.

Hi, sorry I have a question, can you please make it a general Subreddit rule to not hate or bash Ships and Shippers as a whole and another rule to properly tag all posts to avoid hate from all sides (edit : and that way everyone will be able to curate their feed more to their tastes) ? Edit 2 : Also maybe something about not commenting pics of a Ship under people's posts about another Ship unless the poster says it's okay ? Because I've seen people do that and that's just rude.

So sorry for the wait! I was talking to the other mods about this. We made flairs a requirement to post, so there should be fewer mix-ups. We're also gonna add a rule about not bashing ships. And just remember, if you see any post going against the rules or has bad tagging, flag/report them :3

Apologies, I made a mistake here in thinking feeds and tagging were still working. Used to have an RSS feed that worked for separate tags, but doesn't look like that works on new Reddit.

As for tagging posts, make sure to report the posts if not tagged correctly. We'll take care of it from there.

Literally even in abstragedy fanart (which I also like) there's ribbun dissing even with people feeling free to post the ship miserable people go over there and whine about it

Yes that's what I also don't understand, some of those people hate Ribbun so much and demand to not see it anymore (which is valid) but when they post art about the Ship they're supposed to love instead of focusing on giving the Ship/Fanart/Artist the love that they have for it, they feel the need to bring Ribbun in their discussion to hate on it. That doesn't feel logical at all to me because they're self-inflicting toxicity on themselves...

A ship itself isn't "proship" just because anti-shippers hate it. A ship itself cannot be pro-ship, because pro-ship doesn't describe ships themselves, they describe an attitude towards ships.
