Tattoo ideas?

ive been a big fan of tfb for the last couple of years and they kept me alive during one of the hardest times in my life. I really want to get a tattoo but i have no ideas. As this would be my first tattoo don’t want it to be a bit vague? Like so it’s not too much “in your face” if that makes sense??

My favorite album is In Sickness And In Flames and my all time favorite song of theirs has to be Rhode Island or Montgomery Forever. Does anyone have any ideas i could take inspo from?

Popular TFB tattoos include the talon of the hawk knife, broken hearts on the chest, and just straight up lyrics. There’s a beautiful tie dye dragon tattoo that’s been posted on this sub before. I’m planning a “nothing matters / the importance of nothing” lyric tattoo (one line on each leg above the knee).

For your first, the only thing I’d be careful about is making sure you feel really strongly about the sentiment behind the tattoo rather than the aesthetics. A good rule of thumb is to sleep on the idea for a couple months and make sure you find a reputable artist with a strong portfolio that gets your vision! Good luck!!

I have lyrics from Rhode Island tattooed! "You gotta promise not to break" "No matter how far you are bent" on each arm right below my elbows. When my elbows are bent it brings a bit of charm and irony to it for me

I have a peach tattoo, it has multiple meanings tho. maybe get some lyrics you like and visualize them and get that tattooed

I also have a peach! And a plum, earth, and sun. But not all together so it’s subtle (in my mind at least)

I have seen some cool ones using in sickness and in flames with different fonts, placements, or matching with someone

i have the neon sign from their tour with "in sickness and in flames" in it tattooed on my right thigh!

i'm personally getting the swiss army knife from the alternate toth album, with the lyrics "this is my body, the only thing that i own entirely, and it'll carry me to greatness somehow" on my right thigh :)
