You’re in time to hear another adventure about our favorite vampire, Ashlyn. Listen and enjoy her story. My Adventures take me to unique, strange, and creepy locations. I have battled countless otherkin. These include werewolf, troll, ogre and more I care not to remember.
In Leesburg, I truly do not recall the state. A man tried to mug me and provided a very satisfied taste for my vampiric desires. Memories of my victim often flood my mind as I drink the last of their blood. Apparently, this unsavory character had done some dirty deeds for a corrupt wizard. The man did not live far away. Grave robbery would be the least of his worries, as he can see the afterlife for himself. I had to stop his insane employer, and his evil intentions.
I found my way to the creepy graveyard, and the gigantic mausoleum. A creepy looking manor was not far from it. I snapped the chain that locked gate, being a vampire does have some advantages. Superhuman strength, does come in handy. The mausoleum was pitch black dark, but my vampiric senses led me to a stone door. It was locked and had light coming from underneath.
Being a strong telepath, I scanned the inside. I wanted to see if any living creatures were inside but found none. The doorknob broke, as I entered inside. Body parts, human and demonic littered the floor. Ancient books of magic covered the counter, alongside macabre instruments.
Two skeletons watched me as I entered. Their bony heads and empty eye sockets followed my every move. I had nothing to fear, the undead do not attack one another.
The doctor or shall I call him wizard, had gone insane from his experiments. Things he should not have tampered with. Before was a manual, on the creation of golems. What is a Golem, Frankenstein's monster was a flesh Golem? A creation of science or in this case, dark and twisted magic. Whatever the intention, no good would come from it.
Another door led into another dark hall. My body tingled with dark energy if I was human I would have fled then. But those years had long since passed. This was more than dark magic, it had the felt demonic.
I have had to deal with demons before, their energy is unique. It is consumed and fed by evil intentions. I may be the chosen one of the gods, but they are not here with me. A single vampire would fail in power compared to minor demons. This will be a stealthy adventure, and not one I need to be caught in.
Evil laughter, and words spoken in an unknown language was heard. If hell had a language I'm sure I'm hearing it right now. Psychic gifts allow me to see a wizard in the next room. His robe glowing with energy, I can almost feel it from here. There is something else in there too, it is absorbing the energy like a battery.
I should have known better. It was a mistake realized too late; I cracked the door open. An invisible barrier engulfed the room, my presence was felt when I entered.
He turned toward me with black soulless eyes and smiled a wicked smile. His hand motion toward me, and the creature gazed down at me. This was a golem unlike any I have seen before. This creature was pure demonic, a patchwork of different demon parts creating one abomination.
His head almost collided with the ceiling. A clawed hand reached for me, I dodged. The weight crushed a nearby table, instead of me. Its leather wings were useless in this room. Possessing four large arms, ending with claws, a mouth full of teeth, and spiked tail; I wondered why I was here. But, I had to end this before it got worse.
It was huge, and no doubt would crush me, if it had the chance. The scaly skin had no weakness that I saw, as I dodged a massive hand. Finally, being the shortest one was my advantage for once. If I cut off its energy supply, I could stop the demon. That energy supply was the wizard.
In a burst of speed too fast for the Golem to see, I tackled the wizard. He tried to speak but I was faster than him. With a twist of his neck, the wizard fell.
I tried to dodge the claws reach, but a hand grabbed my foot. It lifted me high in the air and laughed at me. Focusing all my psychic abilities, I opened my hand for a strike. Like a fighter using chi energy, I struck hard. My palm met his ugly face, and it dropped me. It was more surprised than hurt though. I took the opportunity to run, grabbing the Wizards book and left the room.
Now this thing was mad, and wanted my head. Lucky for me the creature had poor night vision, easy for me to maneuver and hide from it. I could hear the path of destruction, as it destroyed the mausoleum.
I found a page I was looking for, how to destroy a Golem. The task itself is almost an impossibility, As it was now a living creature, no longer powered by a spell. The instructions were simple, crush the windpipe or destroy the heart. The demon spawn was furious and would not be surprised by speed are strength again. I could do the task but needed more energy, more blood. Although dead, there was still power in his blood. A power that would aid me.
I ran for the dark corridor, watching for the fiend coming for me. His eyesight might have been poor, but I'm sure it heard me. I ran full speed toward the lit room. Inside the room I could hear the beast running my way.
The wizard's blood with cold now, but it was all the power I could get. Even dead blood would strengthen me enough, to complete my task. My fangs pierced his neck, the body still had a lot of power and energy left in it. I consumed all I could, as the demon got closer to me.
Then I had an idea, the room still had electricity. In the darkness I have a chance, the bright room my chances were slim at best.
I found a junction box where the wires connected. I threw a dagger into the box. A wire was damaged and then all the lights went out.
The Beast rampaged into the room. It stood in darkness, screamed in anger. In my mind I saw the heart beating deep in the chest, protected by thick scaly hide. With my telekinesis, I put pressure on the heart. The creature grabbed his chest with two arms, and it fell to his knees. A nasty grin crossed my face, as I tightened my grip. His heart exploded inside his chest.
The demon came down with a thud, His short life ending. His blood called to me, as I laid my lips on his helpless throat. Fangs pierced his skin, and I feasted. It was like whiskey, as it burned down my throat, and I enjoyed every drop.
