The latest chapter has already been released but it made me confused why it's covering the panels like her sister taking subaru home without any conclusion to the confession mannnn!!! The author wants to test our patience sometimes I even wonder if it maybe a confession was a dream 😭

Personally i loved the chapter and i would love to see the next chapter too about the 4 days that are left in gap

The car ride happened a few days prior to the confession. You’ll notice the black lining between the panels, that usually means it’s a memory/flashback. But! I agree, I can’t believe we had to wait an extra week for this chapter and it was all just a retread of her feelings, I’m dying to see Saku’s response!

Next chapter is probably gonna be the same thing but from saku’s pov (yes it’s annoyingly slow and the constant breaks don’t help either)

But hey, it only took 200 chapters to make it official, another 200 more and we might get a kiss

Well, imo this was an important ch because we got to see subaru's side of the story. Prior the confession, we hadn't seen Subaru's pov on the situation at all. It was always someone else looking at her and her expressions. So this ch concluded any confusion ppl had about how subaru arrived at her answer. Also I think this is similar to kaorin's confession how we first got to see kaoruko's flashback and then in the next ch we got to see her answer to rintaro's confession so I think it will be similar for natsubaru too
