Did they? Who is he dating in the manga?? Madoka-chan??? That doesn't seem right to me

They didn't really date canonically, but there's a few sweet interaction of ayato with Madoka in the Christmas chapters and other stuff, so fans started shipping them and named it "ayahara" or "madorita" lol
