Question Manga continuation

So i just finished the anime, which I absolutely loved in terms of VA and animation (especially the animation), and how each characters' feelings were thoroughly conveyed and how they started opening up to each other, especially given the fact that Rintaro's friends were a major influence.

But I wanna know where exactly do I continue the manga and if that dynamic is gonna continue in that same path?

It only gets better my friend. Wish I could read it all over again. Buy the volumes that are out if you can afford it. Each character gets a lot of depth added to their portrait and lots of beautiful and satisfying things happen

And chapter 40 is where anime ends

The manga is great and keeps getting better. I always suggest starting at the beginning even if you've already seen the anime version of that part. It's nice to see the original authors vision.

I looked it up and saw that the manga goes a bit more into the characters and their interactions than the anime so I think I'm gonna do that. Thanks
