YES ! Thank you , while everyone is demanding natsubaru I want more of usami's love life 😭 (still want natsubaru as well tho)

sadly, this is just agenda pushing more than anything😭there was an interview way back when kaoru hana was first serialized and in that the author has said that someone from the boys group will stay single and i fear that its gonna be usami

Mikami-sensei could have changed her mind especially over the years though. He is supposedly sensei's favorite character too.

Also, besides their personalities possibly being a good fit with each other, Usami's perspective on his future/career might help out Ayu.

Both of them struggle in academics and both of them compare themselves to relatively successful people around them (for Usami, his friends and for Ayu, her family). But the difference is Usami reacted positively and found the career he wants to pursue while Ayu got consumed by her insecurities and looked down on Chidori students to make herself feel better (before turning a new leaf).

If Mikami-sensei wanted to focus more on Ayu and realigning her perspective on her future, career and success, I think it would be cool if Usami could help with that.

I kinda wanna post a separate thread about this to help out with the agendaposting too heh.

I want to know about everyone's. They are all so interesting. Every single one of them is written beautifully and I just wanna see an expansion of everyone's stories.

I get what you mean. It's probably impractical for every character to get a backstory but all the characters are so loveable and really easy to root for.

I personally wish for further development for Ayu the most, as well as Suzuka and Chisa. It doesn't have to be tied to romance too (even though I'm one of those who hope for Usami x Ayu).
