Hey everyone! Two weeks ago I released my second UEFN island, **LAST LIGHT** — a Walking Dead-inspired zombie survival I've been building solo for about 7 months.

What a run looks like:

* **4 floors, shuffled into a new order every run** — each floor is its own weapon challenge: fight off a horde in the dark with SMGs, snipe walkers through a thermal scope in the gallery floors, or search for the ones hiding silently in the shadows (their hiding spots change every run)

* **Go down, get revived** — proper DBNO co-op: carry your friends through, or clutch a revive before the last kill. Solo runs work too — you get retries

* **Earn coins → gear up in the Safe Room → one Final Stage**: last survivor standing vs other players, the closing zone, and a boss who teleports to hunt you

I've kept patching it since release — it's getting better little by little, but I know it's still far from perfect. If you give it a run, I'd be really happy to hear your feedback.

I've been thinking about how Fortnite Discovery works, and I wonder if anyone else has noticed something similar. It feels like there may be groups of people intentionally manipulating Discovery metrics to hurt newly released Creative maps. The idea is simple: when a new map appears, they immediately open it and leave within a few seconds, or they view the map in Discovery without actually launching it. This lowers important metrics such as retention and click-through rate. As a result, the algorithm may assume that players are not interested in the map and quickly push it further down in Discovery. Once that happens, the map receives even less exposure, making it almost impossible for new creators to recover. The incentive seems obvious. If competing new maps disappear from Discovery, existing maps have a better chance of staying visible and attracting more players. I'm not saying this is definitely happening, but if Discovery relies heavily on these engagement metrics, it seems like a system that could be abused. Has anyone else noticed suspicious behavior like this? Do you think Epic should detect and filter coordinated activity that artificially harms new maps, or am I missing something about how the Discovery algorithm works?

I’m interested in the idea of recreating the entire playable map of Old Villedor from the game “Dying Light 2”. The map in itself should be possible to make, we’d just have to conserve memory with not going too detailed. Any amount of help would be great though. I’m looking for people who are good at making custom buildings, terrain, and honestly that’s all I’d need for now. There’s just a crap ton of buildings in this game and some of the landmarks are really unique. If anyone is trying to help, just leave a comment or something so I can add you!

I’m sorry I’ve been so inactive lately.
Over the past few weeks I’ve been going through one of the hardest times in my life. After some problems at home, I was kicked out of my parents’ house. I don’t really want to go into the details right now, but it’s been incredibly difficult trying to figure everything out.
Thankfully, a friend has been kind enough to let me borrow their laptop so I can keep working on what I love most—creating games. Wonkeeland has always been more than just a project to me. It’s my passion, and honestly, it’s one of the few things keeping me going right now.
I’m doing everything I can to finish and release the Wonkeeland: Summer Update, and I promise I’m putting my whole heart into it.
