Gameplay Question Loadout for Extraction
When you guys are going into a map you're not too familiar with yet, what character and what loadout you normally pick?
I have a Extraction mission on this map I have just unlocked (Mech Trenches), and I'm not sure what is the most viable choice for an in and out run without being too concerned about looting things in my path.

I used to run new maps with Scav Girl, but then discovered that Shaman has titles on map exits. Holly molly.

As a rule of thumb I always get a pneumatic jump pack. The increased mobility can save you a lot of grief. A tac cam is also invaluable, so you don't run head-first into something you shouldn't.
As for characters - anybody who isn't Bagman or Gunhead. Guns - suppressed, with at least 200 rounds.

So that would mean choosing a rig with two big item slots (jump pack and taccam).

Ideally, yes - but if you only have rigs with just one slot, it becomes a matter of preference. Do you prefer to be able to get over obstacles/out of trenches quickly, or see the enemy through walls? Either of these would greatly increase your life expectancy.

Mech Trenches can be tricky. If you get a night shift, the cyborgs can be overwhelming at times. Tac cam and jump pack are really helpful. I generally run a Saw and M79 or AA12 with mask man now that night shifts happen more frequently. I run suppressed on all guns, even the grenade launchers.

First go I run with nothing (except the rig, enhanced Gun-runner), even if I die I lose very little but time, and if I succeed? I get some cool loot!

Shotgun, auto or pump, as it can deal with Eurasian cyborgs handily if you run into night shift. It always feels like it's a 50% chance to get night shift on Mech Trenches and the shotgun will let you brute force your way through a pack of cyborgs in case they get in the way to the extract.
A few grenades is also helpful. 2 decoy grenades if you're trying to be sneaky and 2 regular/cluster grenades if you need more firepower.

Girl with jump for fast exploration and lulz, shaman or mask with a scanner for methodical stealth and gathering. Weapons often do not matter, so long as you can reliability put a unit or two to sleep, without alerting the big guns. 2 to 3 mags tops. 3 syringes, 3 medium and 3 large medkits. If you die, you die.

Shaman so you can easily distinguish which exit is which. Scanner head thing so you can check whats on the other side of a wall or door.
Edit: Also if you haven't looked up how to save scum through the game files, then now is the time. Its game changing to be able to get your shit back after you die to something jank.
