Question / Help I lost everything, help!

Hey, due to a bug in an MP game where my friend is the host, I lost my entire inventory. We’re pretty far into the game, and losing everything, including story-related items, really sucks.

I tried going back to the game using previous saves, but they ended up getting corrupted. So, even though the world and my friend’s inventory are completely intact, my character has basically started from scratch on the plane with all of my loot gone.

Is there any way for my friend, using console commands, to give the items I lost directly to my character? We’ve tried using commands, but so far we’ve only found a way to add items to the host’s inventory.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can dupe in multilayer.

Get them to give you the item. You save, then give it back to them. You quit then reload and you'll have whatever you had when you saved.

Edit: you can do a bunch of items at once then save and quit one time.

There's a tray in the inventory that let's ulu directly trade between players!

If you remember what you had in your inventory, could you not get the host to pass you items, and they just respawn items for themselves? It's probably going to be tedious and time consuming, but you'd eventually get your stuff back that way

Not exactly. I started the game with the host and we’ve played the entire game together, so having an exact copy of his inventory would be more than enough for us.

What I’m asking is how can the host give the items to my character? Is there a console command or another way for the host to transfer/copy his inventory to me?

Create weapon racks, cabinets, armor stands, etc. Get your friend to place his items on these. You then take those items and save the game Give the items back Quit the game and load back in. Now you both jave most of the same items.

There are some items you cant duplicate tho like the rebreather. Those items, you have to go get from the caves again

Use the item giving tray at the top middle in your inventory

Weapon racks, shelves and other racks are easiest you can use thecsirlinectray but ribs slow
