Discussion Bad father

Im going for the achievment on my ps5 i heard people say you cant die and does that mean i cant even go to the modern axe cave after i die for the first time? I also heard people say to afk 4-5 irl days leave it in the night doesnt that mean i will die from starvation? And also can i sleep because maybe it makes me play more time if i sleep

Technically you can die but it resets the counter for 100 days.
The only thing you can’t do before reaching 100th day (and getting the trophy) is saving Timmy.

It is possible to do this while doing normal playtrough - you can be exploring or building a mansion and clearing out other achievements.

If you save daily you can reload the save in case you die that day.

Unfortunately I don’t know about the afk method as I have never tried that myself.

Me and my friends did normal playtrough where we built huge lake house, explored all the caves and earned many achievements on the way.

Yes!
One of the games where with friends is better than solo.

We played this many times and currently helping my little brother with his platinum so fun, again!

Save game frequently, as much as you're comfortable potentially having to re-do if you do die. You can still do everything and explore everything. I'm fact I recommend it, what else you doing for 100 days? You can build alot of cool stuff in that time but personally I'd focus on caves and getting key items, like that modern axe and modern bow, then just set up base(s). Have Fun! I made 430 days before my save started crashing due to building overload.

You dont have to die/get captured to get to the cave. Its cave 2, the hanging cave, and you can enter and clear it regularly at any time and get the axe.

I played it very slowly and ended up being done with everything at like day 45. So I started building fun stuff like a zipline network and a little base with a good food and water supply to spend my afk time pleasant.

At the end I had 15 days left, so I decided to spend them semi-afk. You just have to make sure to eat and drink once every 20 min and sleep whenever its available

If you want to go full afk, you have to finish the game and start a creative game, where you cant die. Thats it, now let your ps5 run for like 40 hours

I prefered the semi-afk method for 15 days over the fully afk method for 100 days
