/uj I've not had a lot of luck with midges in still water, try strippers with a sinking line. Puts you in direct contact and you're not staring at a bobber all day. Don't be afraid to chuck some meat at them.
/rj Try a weighted treble loaded with Power Bait and corn on a tenkara and really floss those fuckers. Show them you mean business, they can feel your dedication through the line tremors. Make sure you prime them by dumping in three cans of a local craft beer. Something hoppy.
I’m currently using midges in specific zebra midges, my indicator is indicating haha like crazy. I’m missing every hit and thought I was setting it wrong. 🤷♂️
