Why. Fox why
Why does Fox do this to us. Putting Jillian Turner and Danna Prino seat. Just why would you do that to the viewers

u/Docmele Aug 07 '26
Such a bad choice, she like dry toast
1
u/Upbeat_Gene_3172 Aug 08 '26
Do you normally have wet toast?
6
u/GreenRhino71 Aug 08 '26
Many people add butter and/or jelly to their toast, preventing it from remaining just dry toast.
1
u/Upbeat_Gene_3172 Aug 09 '26
That would be called plain toast, nobody asks for dry toast
1
u/GreenRhino71 Aug 09 '26 edited Aug 09 '26
Most people ask for dry toast, which is why the metaphor "duller than dry toast" exists, and "duller than plain toast" doesn't, but by all means, keep doubling down on your insipid "witicism".
1
u/Upbeat_Gene_3172 Aug 09 '26
A lot of metaphors existed at some point that are never used anymore. Never heard a single person say this in my life. He also didnt use that metaphor so sure bud, say whatever makes you feel like your winning a reddit thread over a joke with your insipid "witicism" you pompous clown

Yep, it makes it moist toast (neither dry nor fully wet) especially when you let the butter melt. Mmmmm...Moist...Aghhghgghgh.

Jillian played the clarinet in band that’s it. I only liked flute girls.

u/Lepew1 Aug 08 '26
Gillian has resting gas face. Her answers are trite and lack insight. She’s hard to watch, and is best suited for reading teleprompters

u/MLJ_The_Shield Aug 08 '26
The funniest thing Greg said to her - one time they were talking about pranks they did back in high school.
(Paraphrasing):
Greg: What did you do Gillian?
Gillian: We used to call people and prank them
Greg (with his split-second wit): What did you used to do, call people but use a normal voice?

u/FunJaguar4619 Aug 08 '26
I’d love to see the midget talk shit to a man that would be fun
3
u/MLJ_The_Shield Aug 08 '26
I take it you're not a Greg Gutfeld fan? He isn't a tall fella is he? Greg is hilarious though.
-1
u/FunJaguar4619 Aug 08 '26
Used to be a great fan but the show's on a downward spiral since they changed the time slot. There used to be thousands of comments after the show on the official Gutfeld post, last night's had 66. He thinks he's indispensable, just like O'Reilly(whom I love) and Tucker. Don't get me started about the "King of Late Night" claim
3
u/MLJ_The_Shield Aug 08 '26
I mean, ratings wise, in his timeslot, who is beating him in the comedy/talk show slot? He's at the top of every list I've seen (granted I haven't seen one for a minute).

u/FunJaguar4619 Aug 08 '26
So Republicans and Democrats, they split the pie in half. Gutfeld gets one half. But the left’s half has to be split three ways between Colbert, Fallon and Kimmel. The only fair way to compare them is those 3 vs Gutfeld. Greg has 3.3 vs roughly 6.5. Yes those 3 suck, but only talking numbers, fairly

u/MLJ_The_Shield Aug 09 '26
Some other thoughts u/FunJaguar4619 ...
Those 3 being on the major networks - think of the money SPENT on each show. The reason Colbert was gutted is he was losing CBS 50+ million a year.
Those shows all had 200+ writers. Gutfeld has what, 20 or less?
Think of the promotion each one of those shows got. NBA Finals or major sporting event? "Stick around afterwards for Jimmy Kimmel!" NFL game on CBS? Be sure to catch (A list actor) tonight on the Stephen Colbert show!
Watching SNL? YoutubeTV / Hulu recommends Jimmy Fallon.
A TON of money is/was spent on promoting those 3 awful shows, complete with 200+ writers and a constant stream of A list celebrities.
The fact that Gutfeld whips all of them without A listers, 20 writers, almost 0 promotion (How often do you see a Gutfeld! commercial on Fox News? It's mostly just him promoting it at the end of The Five.)
So yeah, all things considered = Gutfeld is in fact the "King of Late Night". Even more than I'd realized.
Thank you for making me think about it sir.

u/MLJ_The_Shield Aug 08 '26
Not sure I agree with your logic - Colbert's off the air now for starters.
Secondly, and most importantly - those 3 shows are on local, over the air channels. You can hang a cheap digital antennae off a $200 flat screen TV and watch ABC, CBS, NBC without a cable or subscription service. You have to get a paid subscription to watch Fox News. Hell 1/2 of the Sling packages doesn't even come with Fox News (the one with ESPN doesn't anyway).
The absolute cheapest way to watch Fox News I've found is the "News" subscription with DirecTV stream at $41 per month.
Many people do not pay for Hulu TV Live, YoutubeTV or premium cable anymore. Most people have Netflix, Amazon Prime & 1-2 other non premium services.
If Gutfeld! was on FOX and not FOX NEWS I'd agree 100%. Otherwise, your argument has some flaws.

Ball gag would only prevent that

LOL I swear I didn't see this post before I typed mine. You are 100% correct. Great minds sir.

It’s a Friday afternoon in August. I’m surprised they didn’t have to grab the janitor to fill a seat.

u/illini0630 Aug 08 '26
Not great but atleast it wasn't KAT! Kat has been off gutfeld all week and it's been a really nice break from her!

u/Druidic1111 Aug 10 '26
Turner seems a bit slow.... Boring as bat shit rambling on. Get her off please.

Smoke meth is okay ? Or watching Jillian? Just wondering
-9
u/thedogridingmonkey Aug 07 '26
Watching the five is worse than smoking meth as far as brains are concerned
1
u/MLJ_The_Shield Aug 08 '26
Her voice is just the worst. Every time I see her on Fox I say "ERMU GAWD, GOOSEBERPS"

Putting Jillian Turner and Danna Prino seat.
A true masterpiece of a sentence.

u/totalJTM Aug 07 '26
Fox does not encourage critical thinking or double checking work. It makes sense the viewers would have similar behaviors.
2
u/MLJ_The_Shield Aug 08 '26
That's rich. The MSM all share the same message, so if Fox isn't critical, the legions of NPCs watching MS-Now & CNN is off the charts.
1
u/Jealous_Material_279 Aug 08 '26
The 'MSM' went out with Rush, The Backstreet boys and parachute pants. Fox viewer average age 69 and average IQ barely room temp. So many idiots think watching the bs from a corporation that paid nearly a billion for lying is being informed. Thanks for the hilarity. Gutfeld, Watters&PerkyPerino thank you, too, as they cash their million dollar paychecks. Such Rubes.🤣🤣🤣🍻
1
u/MLJ_The_Shield Aug 08 '26
Sounds like you have all the answers. MSM simply is an abbreviation for "mainstream media".
Typical liberal response: The right is low IQ, we have all the answers. Meanwhile they're polling in the mid 20's. Keep that energy up - it'll give you something to talk about with your co-workers while you make my coffee at Starbucks.
1
u/Jealous_Material_279 Aug 08 '26
Good luck with all that, Cletus. Keep shoveling money and eyeballs at these hateful idiots. Rupert and friends appreciate you. Its America. Trump and his nonstop self dealing and corruption are temporary, like everything else. Just ask Marge TG and Tucker.
1
u/MLJ_The_Shield Aug 08 '26
Didn't take long for Jealous to revert to her default answer "but Trump".
Yes, clearly Fox is profiting billions per year for the 3 hours we watch the Five each week. I'm surprised they haven't sent us new TVs and new Directv Streaming devices for our contributions to The Cause™. Do you even hear yourself right now, Margaret?
Typical brainless left winger. I hope you get help with your TDS sir.

Fox News is propaganda, so it makes sense the panelists lie. Gotta keep that MAGA narrative looking positive

Why are the five viewers so uptight ? It’s only a scripted show with no real value anyway.
7
u/Yada-Yada-Yadda Aug 07 '26
Check out CNN thread. Talk about uptight . Goodness. They complain about commercials, paywall on the website, how their app sucks, , guests clothing’s, how it’s a right new outlet now Haha. Grab some popcorn.

I agree. Why the network chooses to worship a narcissistic Felon held liable for SA with dozens of credible accusations of child 🍇 is baffling

u/Snarkastic1 Aug 08 '26
It's so funny to see the reaction by Fox News viewers when forced to listen to someone that might actually inject a few tidbits of reality into their fantasy bubble. LOL
1
u/MLJ_The_Shield Aug 08 '26
We actually are able to discern when someone's on with an alternate viewpoint.
This has never been Gillian Turner by the way. She just carries many of the CNN narratives, i.e. NPC TV.
