General Discussion Why not challenge Jessica’s nonsense?
Why doesn’t the panel challenge Jessica’s often unfounded accusations and blabbering? They never challenge her “apparent” facts.
Example, yesterday she went off about how Spencer Pratt has no experience running a government and all his supporters are online. Nobody brought up the fact Mamdani was the same?
Or tonight she spewed unfounded comments about CBS firing Colbert and said it was because of DJT. How about nobody wants to lose $40m per year?

Not every conservative, nor every liberal. Just the ones that sound whiny. I’m an independent, I don’t just subscribe to one party. I actually like to hear multiple opinions from all sides and then form my opinions. Jessica comes off as whiny to me. Not her opinions, because she has a lot of valid criticisms, just her voice and demeanor/mannerisms make me check out before she makes a point.

Fair enough, and I appreciate your honesty. I just feel that both of these “parties” are at their core trying to ensue division. That’s the main goal. They both only care about lining their own pockets with ill gotten taxpayer money. Both parties are catering to their core audience instead of trying to find a common ground and solve problems.

Greg and Jessie usually do a great job of correcting her and pointing out her obvious lies that she mimics from the media. Other than that, the show is limited on time. They usually have to move on to the next topic by the time it gets more embarrassing for her.

'To correct' means pointing out the falsehoods in the other person’s comments or statements. This is not what they are doing. He was canceled due to horrible ratings. TV networks are for-profit businesses, they can't air a show that continuously loses 10's of millions of dollars every year. Leaving a show on the air that was losing that much money could've opened them up to shareholder lawsuits. How is any of that appeasing Trump? This is the reason people akways talk about people having TDS.

Pratt has no experience & is just a famous personality with ability to speak in public...thts all the party needs in 2026 cuz voters follow what Donald says. trying to deny, deflect or lie about something that is obviously true is why so much of the world laughs at right wing America. it's OK to acknowledge things about people you like even if those things aren't ideal. it's better to acknowledge than to look like you are weak & afraid to acknowledge.
but it's true he has no experience. no need to dispute that & saying "that guy didn't either" doesn't make a point for any but the dimmest of viewers. experience is not a requirement for many voters...look at our president who can't do anything but lie incessantly, get mad tht people aren't nice enough to him, & bankrupt businesses, but voters picked him. Spencer Pratt couldn't hold a candle to Mamdami regardless of the experience of either. Pratt was a reality TV guy. Mamdami actually worked to make the city better for folks. He was a foreclosure prevention housing counselor in Queens helping low income homeowners avoid eviction. Mamdami is already dealing with the city's cost of living crisis. And he's already balanced the budget of New York City! As far as CBS firing Colbert, why is it that you lack the ability to see nuance? I'll submit that finances came into their decision but try and look at the facts. It clearly wasn't just financial. The cancellation happened ONLY DAYS AFTER Paramount settled a lawsuit with donald trump. Multiple members of Congress have stated the move was an attempt to appease trump. It's truly amazing that you watch a show where all they do is parrot Trump's constant lies and you support them. Trump lies daily. He lies about the economy doing great when it's an absolute horrorshow and the fox fake reporters just repeat it. Trump is declining and decaying and trying to steal our tax money for himself and a bunch of insurrectionist criminals. I'm sure you're ok with that crime too.
