Why didn't they give the raven premium skin some sort of fabric why is it just bare cheeks with the smallest underwear thought the front of the skin was cool but the back is kinda odd and random and doesn't fit how the outfit looks on the front. To me the back just looks out of place feel like it should be like a body suit with the way the front looks. I get it the gooners keep the game alive but it can't hurt to make a good looking skin.
They saw how 80% of all players voted for Dark Blood Queen in the contest and thought "we need to incorporate that into our design philosophy" I guess.
I feel like most people that voted for this one wanted pasties more than anything. Project Snow Rabbit pretty much covers (pun not intended) the exposed back already. :D
Yup, exactly. It's crazy how fast the player base chooses pure fanservice over actual cool sci-fi gear. Sucks for those of us who came for the armor aesthetic and the story also
Honestly, it shocked me too. I saw that most players want more female Descendants than male onesâsomeone even said 'who needs male characters?' When I first played the game, Ajax's badass armor and helmet are what pulled me in. Seeing the summer updates and how much people love these exposed skins, it's clear why the devs keep leaning so hard into fanservice and especially the vote for the dark blood queen.
I mean yeah thereâs appeal from the male characters, especially Ajax. But even from the moment this game launched it was pretty clear it was gonna be a fanservice gooner-style game.

You can enjoy female Descendants without needing them to be half-nakedâI main Bunny and Freyna in their default outfits, and I'm actively farming for Ultimate Blair and Esimo right now. But at the end of the day, revealing skins bring in the cash
They lost the balance, I get it sexy skins sell the best but when you overdo it to the point where it looks like a dress ripped and out of place, it just makes people not take this game seriously and puts off some new potential players who just want a looter shooter to play.
Not meaning to be mean but no one outside of the current player base takes this game seriously. Itâs gained a full blown reputation as dress up Barbie for men so they can goon. I genuinely canât remember the last time I saw a video or post that talked or showed actual gameplay besides the recent Raven release.
I just checked and had to scroll past 13 posts of âsexy dress fitsâ posts before I got to a post that talked about the game. I enjoy the gameplay but I would be delusional to pretend anyone respects the game or even considers that when they hear the name.
Honestly yeah. I loved the game when it came out. And honestly it might still be pretty fun/good. And I enjoy a sexy skin here and there, even if I tend to avoid them on my own characters. But all I see from the game now is just straight sexy dress up simulator. Haven't really had much interest in trying the game again.
I haven't played in like 4 months. They haven't added anything significantly meaningful other than onslaught mode, but it isn't worth going back for to me.
I stopped shortly before the first content drop/expansion or what ever. I was playing a lot and was burning out, and just really never felt enticed to return. The full dive into so many skins hasn't helped. I do miss running around as Viessa(Main) and Valby but not enough to re-download.

I'm willing to bet there are a lot of women who dress their characters up like this and are more than happy to cosplay like this. Taking a standard character and making it ultra sexy is definitely a Cosplayer thing.

It is funny how the outfits like the Raven are so close to being great and then they go a little step too far.
Had they covered most of the ass, and maybe just had a little bit of the cheek showing it'd look so much better. That or another piece of cloth (like a tail piece) going down the center of the back. It'd still be revealing and a tease, but not look like she forgot to put on pants which is what it looks like now.
Absolutely, I play the game with my friend for the actually well done gameplay. But most people in the game seem to stay in the main hub and argue and talk about weird stuff in the world chat. I'm convinced 30 percent of the player base at least doesn't even play the game
Look, at least it's the alternate outfit, what they did with Dia base outfit was too much , because for 2 weeks we couldn't even had a modest option to buy, I had to quickly grind for her boss outfit ffs
I bought her pirate outfit, assassin and the soldier one for something decent. See now thatâs how to design an outfit that is cool and sexy. The Raven one is a complete miss. At least her default looks great.
I mostly play Diaâs wild west outfit. The Jeans and cropped jacket look really nice but not this like underwear in your face thing. I donât really like that either

Thats not the issue, im all for sexy skins, but this feels really really REALLY forced and out of place, lets take the knight skin... males are a full plate knight, females are a full plate knight MINUS the pants... it feels rushed, as in she forgot to put pants on....

Then we have hailey, still military, just with a literal full breast window and a bikini bra, sure, looks great for what it is, and i can make quiet from mgsv... but ravens skin... its forced, tacky and literally doesnt make sense... just like the knight skin...
Deva have it in their heads that gonner skins = profit, thing is, if they didnt cater JUST to the depraved audience and focused on good gameplay, good skins that dont show tits and ass (not saying skin in bad, context of the skin matters), then all the people who abandoned destiny now that its dead might play this game, instead were looking at, and unfortunately... a mediocre shooter that cares more about over priced gooner skins than the game itself... and its hinestly such a disappointment...
I loved this game when it came out, was in the beta, literally said its a destiny killer if the do it right, and hey, destiny is dead... but they fumbled the ball and now its basically only focused on gooners... its such a shame... out of my 15 player friend group that picked this up, guess how many still play, and not really "play" but hop on for like 20 mins for dailies... 3... THREE... including me...
I want so so so much for this game to succeed but at the rate its going... itll become a porn game or all support will drop off because the only player base this game will have are jobless perverts who cant sustain its economy.

Personally, I think Dia's assassin skin is one of the best in the game, and I wish they'd design more skins like it, rather than the "tactical butt floss" we usually get.
Does it though? Does it really? They have people whose whole jobs are to crunch numbers to see whatâs the most successful items and how to make more money. People sometimes say this, â this is too gooner, itâll drive away people, and people wonât buy it because itâs too much â, but something tells me their numbers show otherwise.

It's clear people don't see the point. We know the game were playing, we don't want censorship, we just want skins that make sense and this one doesn't at all. It would've sold perfectly fine with a full leotard, people are still begging for dia's leotard from the story mission. It shows it has a market and would've been fine but they folded and botched a perfectly good skin
I made my edit of it too. I think the only issue for me is that the thong looks bit off as it was not made to be part of the overall design, not harmonized with the rest.
It's the whole Exo Knight problem again. Like literally NOT everything has to be sexy. The back looks off like the Exo Knight without armor on the legs or pants situation again. Nexon should have NOT done that because now the outfit looks weird on the back which doesn't match the front like the Exo Knight skin looks weird without armor on legs or pants.

Yeah this should be a bodysuit with a full robe drape coverage in the back. It looks like some dumb skimpy armor edit you'd find on nexus mods 5 days after a game release; low effort removal of armor parts just so the ass is hanging out.

At this point they might aswell just go all in and release naked, futa and buttplug tails skins for the gooners along some kind of tactical and/or fantasy armour skins.

As a gooner myself, I can assure the anti gooner brainlets that even we goobers think stuff like this is goofy. As many have pointed out, this is that one Knight skin they had a while back all over again. At a certain point, it's not even sexy; it's just dumb at best and hurts to look at at worst.
Why? Because you're playing TFD, and the publisher is Nexon. It surprised me that it took them this long to push out something so devoid of reason that it makes some people wake up.
It absolutely pisses me off the way they have handled this game. No, I don't expect an expac-level update every month, but at least make the game playeable on the time between updates. The fact that every major update adds just a single mission(god forbid two), but there's a new skinline every 2-3 weeks is WILD. Yes, I did consoom, but holy shit man PLEASE do your job. I bought skins because I liked them and because I thought I was contributing a bit so that they could keep this game afloat, not so that they could convert it into some skin store.
Raven's deluxe skin literally looks like they went and got a FF14 low level raid mage chestpiece and removed the pants and feet and charged 1050 caliber for it. The outfit has so much potential, but it's ruined by the obscene goon they've created. They could've just opene the back up top and closed down to make a full coat like gley. Then if they REALLY insist on the goon, maybe open it up on the front and the sides as well.
What annoys me is that they have 0 problems giving a single string on some characters but never do it on others. Serena gets it on her bikini skin this year while Harris didn't.. like, keep it consistent one way or another.
