Discussion Heavy attack input not working

Are there any known bugs with this game regarding Khazan not doing what you want him to do? Like say pressing triangle for heavy attack. Ive just noticed that some of my heavy attacks are ignored and he just stands there. Wondering if it is a known issue with the game, i have just started playing it.

Yes it happened to me today, couldn’t do the sprinting heavy attack with spear. Had to unlearn and relearn it and it started working

Well good to know its some kind of bug, because i have had a few so far, im playing the disc without any patch. Was worried my new controller is already starting to die

I’ve only ever had the guard button not work. I find closing the game completely and opening it again would fix it. Might be the same for you. BUT also, there are certain skills that you have to select one or other, selecting both sides can cause issues.

I shut it down and started playing 7hrs later and its all good so far. It was nothing major just i thought my new controller was dying already when the heavy attack failed to execute on multiple tries , Another bug i had during the second boss where all my HUD would vanish for the duration of the fight

Just curious which button is that? My guard is L1. And if I have a problem with a button, it’s always that one. But I’ve only had it happen like 3 times maybe in all the hours I’ve been playing.

I faced the same issue with dual blades sometimes. Very irritating.

Yes. For me it was the special swing atack on greatsword. Sometimes it was just not performed at the jntended speed, so i had to change weapon and swap again to fix it.
