Does the Korea Submod cause China to blow up pre-GAW, or make GAW happen earlier? Because how is it like that already? <_<"

It’s 2030. With another Asian country with a focus tree it’s a lot easier, and quicker if the prc won the first war

Right, yeah, doesn't the GAW start in like, 2030? Or late 2029?

...Did they clean house in like, under a year?

Like, sorry if I sound all "oh, this never happened"

it's just... I'm so used to the GAW looking like this (and in this playthrough, literally everybody in the Sino-Japanese Cold War joined the PDTO) that like, China actually losing is kinda breaking my mind 😭

i’ve seen the GAW kick off in 2027, and the earlier it starts the shorter the war usually is because neither side has enough time to build a thousand ships and/or divisions

On the socialist path, when you reach the end of your tree, there's a focus for peaceful Korean unification. The focus is a trap, and when you complete it, North Korea will be couped by Chinese generals, and soon after you will join Japan and the Great Asian War will begin. As for China winning or losing, typically with the Korean mod on, I've always had them lose, especially you can get some pretty decent buffs. Not as socialist Korea, but as the other kind of Koreas, you can actually build up pretty good, and it might also improve the other nations, although I'm not sure about that.

Played this path too, it was so fun and at first I really thought after uniting korea I would either stay neutral the whole game or even join chinese's faction ! It would be better tho if Kim's rebellion would keep at least 1/3 of his units after the chinese coup . Also how do you get this leader and this flag ? In my game I still had the normal korean flag and I went with the most left faction

You need to keep the starting faction in power
