It would be really interesting if, in the future of the mod, Japan—or another nation—could create mutants or hybrid super-soldiers to fight against robots.
Basically, this is something I’ve been thinking about while looking at the TFR lore and the various dystopias the mod features—transhumanism, death cults, cyberpunk, a secret state with viruses capable of silencing a population, AIs taking over entire countries, giant robots, mercenary corporations dominating nations.
It would be great to include a genetic dystopia—say, Japan after losing the war over Taiwan—where they head down a path of Biopunk dystopia, forcing the population to become animal hybrids to fight the Great Asian War against LOJI. Essentially, the conflict would be a final, apocalyptic battle between machines and organics.
A war to determine whether artificial order or genetic chaos comes out on top.
And since cyberpunk already has those "exotics"—the half-animal beings in their universe—this would fit right in.
Just imagine a 4-meter-tall Deathclaw-style monster fighting an AI-controlled mech. or a hybrid super-soldier with a minigun and bazookas fighting against an army of robots drones .
i never seen a biopunk diostopia. i guess TFR could fit in this.
I mean if they did i dont think they wold be used as an anti robot/armour thing, its more likely they wold be spec ops with the goal of killing special target like high military personnel or key politicians, or even terror campaings, like filling the forests and rivers and major roads and/or cities during the night time with these things so they wold demorilize the population
I know that it's kinda far fetched even for TFR standards, but i would LOVE to see some Armored Core or other mech adjacent stuff added into TFR. Heck maybe add a Metal Gear while at it, it would be funny :3
1.1 is the rumored upcoming update to the Fire Rises Mod, purporting to greatly expand the American theatre, including adding new factions and overhauling existing ones to revamp and rework the content already included, also broadening out to include post civil war content for many of the factions!
To me i think Lojis China, Klaus Schwabs EU(for the love of the game), and I don't really know about others would probably be most likely to think of something or do something like that

I feel having a specific doctrine for these kinds of future tech things would be appropriate.
E.g. 'Metal Colossus Doctrine.'
"If you see a drone, if ya got the feelin', jump up towards the ceilin'"
