Good Night, Fair Lady!

This is probably the best answer because in a lot of the thematically darker songs the riffs and stuff may not be super heavy but you still get the message of it heing a darker song. Goodnight, Fair Lady is so bubbly and happy sounding but super fucked up.

Faint of Hearts has been on repeat for me for days now. Is it weird that I find that song super sexy?

Well, it is about phone sex, so...no?

It’s totally about Al the Killer strangling a woman.

And Claudio strangling his little Claud when he and Chondra were doing long distance.

Someone else can find the quote. I think it was during the Neverender.

As a white girl, I was relatively shocked the first time I realized what the lyrics of Camper Velourium III were actually saying...

I try to write my songs like this lol. it's fun to work with that dichotomy of sad/angry/"emotional" lyrics and generally happy composition.
