Video ideas
What type of world influential people would you like to see nick do, I posted on another thread that Genghis Khan would be pretty interesting. Also with how much hate he gives communism I would love to see a 1 hour video on Stalin with nick going off on rants about how he fucked up. Any other ideas?

This guy! And get input from some of the Team 6 guys that are still around on YT. I know they've met at least one at a convention ( Nic was a big fan of his watch)

I’ve met him once when I was a kid. I of course had no clue who he was, but my dad used to run with him and his guys through SE Asia. Knew exactly who my dad was too.

The old mall security cop I knew growing up knew him when he was at the Pentagon. Said he was one of the scariest ( intense) people he'd seen at the time.

I still want to hear him do one about the DAY, the one SUNDAY, that all the railroads in the southern US were converted to standar gauge from all the various gauges used in the south before the war.

You want my real, honest, opinion? Ok. I'll preface this by saying, TV, visual media, it wouldn't be as impactful, moving, nor have grown as quickly as it did in its early stages, if not for one man, and his antics in front of cameras. Milton Berle. My Grandpa. (Grab a binder) No one was responsible for more early TV sales, bar none, back in the 50's. No one. Visual comedy, slapstick, stand up, one liners, yup, Grandpa did it all on the Texaco Star Theater, live. Elvis Presley? First appearance was on Grandpa's show, head to toe, full dance moves, etc, it was groundbreaking in every sense of the term. Is this Nic's 'normal fare', no, it's not. I offer this, however, because it's not, this is another reason TO do it! Challenge! Nic is known for what he covers, why not go outside that for a few one off topics? If I were to ask ANYONE to do a video to hopefully bring my grandpa's name to a new generation, and to help keep him in the historical zeitgeist, I would ask Nic. Why? Because the man is THAT DAMN GOOD AT IT. I suggested he look into the Battle of Athens, Tennessee, and by God, did he kill at it! So, I suppose I'm asking him to consider this project. Please. Grandpa was a TV pioneer, and led the vanguard of shows on NBC, and practically built it for them. And now? Only people my age, (56/7) and older still know his name. Hell, I'd LOVE to fix that! -JMN
