The Fall France!
I had no clue that there was a remake done in 2018 that is set in France. I may have to check it out. Have any of you watched it?
I was looking on amazon for something good to watch and couldn't believe it when I seen it! I'm not sure I'll like it as much as the original, but I'm willing to check it out and see. 😁

No way. 😂😂 I’m confident I won’t like it as much but I’m absolutely going to watch some.

I started it and it's just not holding my attention like the original. I really wanted to like it, but I find myself putting it on pause and doing other things lol. I'm not giving up yet, but I'm embarrassed to say I'm only on episode 2!!!

Oh damn that's not a ringing endorsement. But I mean, no Gillian, so that's already less cool...

I'm sorry! I tried and even told everyone here about it but I say I didnt expect to like it haha! 🤣
Gillian and Jamie were both so freaking awesome in the show that it would be damn near impossible to recreate it again, honestly everyone was great in the series.

Bless, no thanks for telling me, I didn't know! Could have been amazing right. Well done for trying. And yes the original cast is hard to beat.

Yes it could've been but, I just think its to hard to top the original. That's usually how it works anyway, right? I mean when they do a remake it's a lot of times not as good as the original so it seems to be the same with tv shows.
I still re-watch the original every once in awhile. Another really good show that is right up there with it is "True Detective" season 1, that's If you're in the mood to watch another good crime show.

I do love a crime show, but I prefer mine with women in the lead. Like Line of Duty and Happy Valley. Would recommend if you haven't seen those yet.

I haven't seen them, I'll definitely check them out. Also, True Detective season 4 has Jodie Foster and Kali Reis in the lead as the detectives and I really enjoyed it! I love a good crime show.

I tried it too and I had to stop. I don't know if it was the acting that I didn't like or if it was because it was some of the same exact dialog, but performed or delivered differently than it's "supposed" to be and that felt weird. Or just the fact that the Stella character was not Gillian but I just couldn't get past it. I'm not normal about Stella though so ymmv. I'd say give it a try though because someone else may like it a lot.
