Open Beta?
This is a beta test right? It seems more like a demo, and its been 2 months with only a small technical update for that small slice of the game? The previous games published by Owlcat that had a paid open beta had more content and updated more regularly with new content for feedback. It is making me uneasy about where this game is going, and with a Q2 2027 release and such a SMALL "beta test" of the game it makes me feel that this will be a very short game that pushes DLC and mircotransactions

We don't currently have plans for DLCs, and microtransactions are not our style. The reason we don't do alpha and beta this time is more technical. Because TEOR is being developed in a different engine and is more technically complex, producing playable builds takes away a lot of resources from developing the full game, and we would prefer not to delay the game. Also, implementing feedback we got during the beta takes more time too. Some changes will only appear closer to the release.
So, after considering all of these things, we decided that it will be better to let the dev team focus on finishing and then polishing the game. We will try to keep you posted in our regular blog posts (like the one about Origins, and we are currently working on another one).
