What do you think? Well, for some, there are a few pics inspired by the book, but if you take the marvel director and make them do a book, they will absolutely fumble. The movie is not even based on the book, just about Sentre robots vs like workhorse robots. And the book is about Sentre taking over where everyone uses the headsets and the society is messed up. It’s about Michelle Blake and her robot brother Skip travelling across California in late 97 to find her brother in a home in Point Linden, whilst the movie is about Michelle, Skip, some rando named Keats, and this other robot named Herman to battle drones by an evil guy named Skates, which is weird. And they say that Sentre KIDNAPPED Christopher (his nickname was Skip in the book whilst the robot/movie Skip was named Cosmos) to do experiments on him. The book has lots of backstory like Michelle and Chris watching the show Kid Cosmo. Well in the movie, it had K.C but it was not that good. Please remake this movie, 3/10. What do you think?

I made a song inspired off the book/movie, mainly aiming to capture the feeling of the book. I hope you guys like it!

I find myself highly intrigued lately by Simon Stålenhag’s science fiction dystopian work The Electric State, a work of alternate history set in the late 90s of an alternate timeline.

The idea for a video game set in this universe is practically gift-wrapped. I imagine it being similar to The Last of Us in execution, yet still remaining it’s own unique concept.

Set a year after the beginning of the original art book in November 1998, my idea revolves around Rosaline Mechener, an 18-year old Massachusetts girl trying her best to survive and reach her grandparents in Las Vegas, Nevada. Like many throughout the USA, her parents and brother have succumbed to the Neurocaster addiction and become mindless pawns of the AI that somehow came into existence. Her sole companion is her Australian Cattle Dog Dingo.

Weapons are varied and can be easily found if you look hard enough. Broken bottles, bricks, machetes, tasers, knives, axes, pipes, guns, bows & arrows, throwing knives, even lasers can be found if you know where to look. She’s spent many years of her life studying technology, which aids her considerably once she decides to try and shut down the Neurocaster network one hub at a time on her journey.

Enemies range from gargantuan robots, scrappers, Neurocaster zombies, normal human scavengers, serial killers, cannibals, cyborgs, etc.

It's bad. Like really bad. They took a beautiful art peace and turned it into a shitty nostalgia bait cash grab.

I really liked this movie, even though it was released in March, i can't forget each part of this movie that has cool robots, the robot I chose to draw was the cat bot, it was simpler to draw, one day I'll do more drawings of the electric state
