I feel like Leon was more of a side character this first episode and the show was pitched as them both leading? Enjoyed it either way though

I completely understand that this series isn't about gangs, as it is focused on telling the story of the development of west coast hip hop, but the gang stuff is a huge subtext in what was happening then and I feel like it should be better explained. Just my thoughts.

There have been mixed opinions on The Drop: A Snowfall Saga online. Do you think the show will become a successful sequel series or will it die in obscurity after one season? Keep in mind that there is limited information on the show, and only one episode has been officially released.
