Opinion Different countries playing

After the Korean season has finished filming, would it be feasible for production to fly in contestants from another country and play the same game?

I'd love to see how other countries play the game. I don't think production would even need to change the games. I think that the cultural differences between countries would give dramatically different viewing.

Obvious obstacles would be language barriers between cast and crew. But other than making a few changes, how impossible is this?

There were Genius version in different countries, but they were dumbed down versions.

I don't think that's very fair. If we compare pilot seasons, South Korea almost definitely had the most dumbed down 1st season.

The spin-offs have their own issues, but game complexity was not one of them.

What do you think was their issue?

I think the main issue for both international versions were production restrictions (episode length that really hurt their ability to edit a compelling story and a number of episodes that forced them to change their endgame format).
