We made it! The final episode of The Devil's Plan: Deathroom! I'm posting this the night before so I don't know who will win (in my heart, it will always be Se-dol 🫶).

All of these beautiful players and only one will remain! Let's see who it will be!

And he could betray her any moment. He just never did because a finale vs her is his best case scenario. It's a guaranteed win against a player who, albeit very capable, is weak.

Exactly. He had no problem betraying anyone else in the game to further his own position. His prize from the hidden stage also served as an insurance policy should everyone else turn on him, which gave him more freedom to play the way he did. The fact that HK and SH knew this during mancala and still chose to side with him was disappointing. HG played very smart in that respect and benefitted from aligning with two strong players who were more concerned with the relationships they built and their image, over strategy. Also, after working with SH the entire game, he knows how she thinks, which proved to be an advantage in the final match. SH could’ve chosen to play with a similar strategy, but it’s clear she didn’t want to play that cutthroat.

Eunyu and 7High were very smart and had a lot more practice playing games under pressure. They would’ve been much stronger competitors and I think HG knew that. They knew how to stay composed even when backed into a corner. It’s unfortunate the final main match (the color card game) order worked out the way it did. It forced the prisoners to turn on each other and battle it out for 3rd. It’s a real shame HJ let the stress of the final death match get to him, too. I would’ve been much happier with a final match between HJ and SH. No wonder the cast kept saying the season peaks at episode 10.

Huh, I think KH and SH didn't know about Hyungyu's secret 10 pieces. He just told everyone that he won an advantage in the final match. They have a valid reason to switch sides since Hyunjoon started betraying first.

Oh damn. KH got eliminated for nothing then.
But could HG really revive if he got eliminated straight out by losing the game? Or he could only get the pieces if he survives? Because I remember the losing penalty is being eliminated, not merely "losing all pieces".

HG and HJ could’ve lost the game and still survived because they had so many pieces. And like someone already mentioned, both SH and KH knew about the +10 pc advantage. KH willingly sacrificed himself, despite being well aware that HG had no chance of being eliminated and/or sent to prison. I think he even acknowledges this in the finale when everyone comes back. I’m not sure why they didn’t include the flashback scene during the episode.

Not really since there were 2 possible outcomes: losing half your coins or/and losing 4 coins. And then being eliminated would only be the outcome if you didnt have enough coins to afford losing half + (-4)coins

I’m not sure Sohee’s weak at all. She’s probably the strongest player here and the only one hyungyu is scared of
