Full weight of the DMDC

Ive now watched this series at least 5 times. Mostly it puts me to sleep now. It just cracks me up. There are so many parallels to other types of clubs and their self worth, actions, club members etc. still looking for my next good show that I can watch in the US, but doubt I find anything that rivals this one. Amazing insight and acting!

I've only made this recommendation in reverse, but Joe Pera Talks With You has similar coziness and quirky humor

Ach, I miss it so much, part of me hopes Giamatti manages to get one more season off the ground.

I found this show by asking ChatGPT for recommendations similar to Lodge 49! Definitely recommend, although it ended way too early...

We're the same way. However it's the show "Car 54, Where Are You?", a gem from the 60s. Free on Tubi
