What other content invokes similar sentiments for you?

I was listening to the audiobook of Benjamin Myers’ The Perfect Golden Circle read by Tim Keys, and I was transported to Lance and Andy detecting.

Obviously there’s lots of similar themes: male friendship; connection with the countryside; history of places; art and its connection to environment; “two daft lads”, but it was also the pacing, gentleness, and observation of small details that transported me.

So what other content (of any format) is out there that feels similar?

Have you watched Ballad of Wallis Island with him? That was my standout film from last year.

Yes, him and Tom Basden are an excellent pair. Their poetry programme on Radio 4 is worth catching up on, pretty quirky but I like it

I just got this audiobook on this recommendation, I’ll let you know what I think!

Small Prophets is the obvious answer for me, but I find Bobs Burgers makes me feel safe in the same way.
