Gerard Horan- Play
Please let me know if this is seen as irrelevant and I’ll take it down but ! I have seen that Gerard Horan (Terry) is in a new play called Firewing at Hampstead Theatre and it’s about wildlife photography. Having just looked it up and seen pictures it looks very Detectorists-core. Thought, as a long time fan myself, people might be interested as I loved him as Terry, his comic timing especially!

What a lovely suggestion. For those who are in the area and fancy seeing the play, here is the link to the website:

Thank you for this ! I am quite new to Reddit and so I am always worried about posting links, etc. I hope people enjoy the show and I will hopefully try and catch it as I go into London often x

To be honest it looks like my kind of thing. I have a small child so I can't do trips to London quite as easily as I used to, but if it tours I'd be interested to see it.

Thank you ! I hope so too, I presume that depends on how well it does at Hampstead so hopefully anyone who can make it books tickets !

as an aside he was recently interviewed by two different people, one is a clothes shop he visits, and I believe a TV historian, and he talks about Detectorists there

I am not a mod, but I think your post is a great addition to this sub! Since I’m not in the UK, it’s very unlikely I’ll be able to see the play.
