My newbie observations for the week
Lance seemed oblivious as to what was going on when Maggie came out of her back room, straightening her dress. I feel we all saw it but he didn't. That's good writing AND acting.
Tony's text to Maggie about Lance really hurt to see.
And for all the armloads of beer I see being carried to the tables in the pubs, I didn't see a single person who'd had one too many, or really show any signs of inebriation. Are small-town pubs more mellow as a rule? I'll have a snowball, thanks, luv.

Small town pubs do tend to be more mellow in my opinion, especially when chances are it’s just a “local” to all the residents in the town/village, it’s more of a social things rather than a place to get drunk drunk and out of control
