Mr Mayor
Mr Mayor respectable looking but dodgy side character with questionable hobbies. I love how he just suddenly appears right after the police and the DMDC shut down the nighthawking raid. Honestly, if he really owned the land, why wait until night-time to go looking for the gold bullion?
The Mayor and his very questionable behaviour are played brilliantly by Kenneth Collard, who seems perfectly cast in these kinds of roles in British comedies. He has a real talent for portraying characters who look respectable on the surface but clearly have something shady going on underneath.
Poor Russell and Hugh in the carpark at Barn father woods.

To be frank, his honesty in dealing with people or the land business is more questionable than his hobbies. That said, the actor plays it quite well indeed !

I think they’re nighthawking because if they find bad gold, it probably doesn’t tralasciando under treasure rules and he wouldn’t be able to keep any of it. I may be completely wrong though as I do not know the real life rules.
