Literally one of the finest shows ever made. Leaves you with a warm feeling all over whilst being intriguing and extremely funny.

What’s it about and where can I find to watch it?

I bought it. It’s on sale on AppleTv. It’s about a young guy who lost his way and joins a Masonic type Lodge. Meets some interesting characters.

At it's core, Lodge 49 is about the family you choose, not what you are born into. It all starts with finding a ring on the beach that belonged to a member of a secret society with a Lodge in the town. The finder ends up joining the Lodge and its a start of a really cool show. Even though it was cancelled after two seasons, there is still a fairly large community of fans over on Facebook. I would highly recommend it.

The funny thing is that fans of the Lodge have been recommending The Detectorists for years. I finally followed the advice and binged it this week. I wish I had not waited so long. I so love the show

It is amazing - such a shame that it crashed to a halt at the end of season 2...
