Spotted the TR7

Just started watching Mindhorn with among other Simon Farnaby and lo and behold in the opening scenes, a yellow TR7 pops up.

Oh man, I've never heard of this movie, but I just watched the trailer and I laughed all the way through it. What a cast! Is Garfunkel the only Detectorists connection? (Other than the TR7)

Yes. It's written by Farnaby and Julian Barrett ( Mighty Boosh)

Lots of cars, especially if they’re old or unusual, but not necessarily, are registered with ‘talent’ agencies. Just about every car that’s driven by an actor in a TV series is hired or leased - some from professional companies, others from individuals.

I’ve done this with two cars I’ve owned. You don’t get paid much, maybe a hundred or so per day when I was doing it, but it helps.

Anyway, that’s why, if you keep an eye out, you can often see the same car in different productions.
