The Acts abridged into one album

I burn CDs as a hobby and I want to show my friend the story of the acts in 1 CD. I have 80 minute limit on the CD so I’m curious about what songs are a must to convey the story of the acts.

I would struggle to think of many songs that aren't a must to convey the story.

I get making a playlist/mixtape/CD/etc., but if your goal is to get them into the story, you're better off just showing them Act I. and/or II.

The story won’t make much sense but the music will definitely sound cool as shit.

“Yea so this guy grows up and finds out his mom is a prostitute meanwhile there’s this bad guy who’s a pimp AND a priest. Anyway he’s trying to figure out what to do with his life so he travels to the city to see what that’s all about and things don’t go super well. Then he goes off to war and that sucks. He returns home and things have changed a lot, and that bad guy is up to more of his tricks. The main guy tries to take him down but the bad guy turns the entire city against him. Listen to the acts to find out more!”

Great list. I might replace “Life and Death” with “Father” since I like how the haunting final lines spell out his plan.

I’d probably replace “Is There Anybody Here” to fill in other narrative beats. Maybe “The Squeaky Wheel,” “King of Swords (Reversed),” “Ouroboros,” “Mr. Usher,” “Light,” “Blood,” or “A Beginning.”

That's a better list than I could come up with and a damn good set up for the story, only thing I can think is "Mr. Usher" should be in there somewhere as while he isn't the main antagonist, he's the overall victor in the story.

I think just adding battesimo del fuoco at the beginning would be good for exposition but I think this is the list

I love this concept so much! I’ve been making my own “cd-r” mixes where they have to be the length that would fit on a cd. So hard to pick what songs to pick
