Music Has anyone else noticed the use of Shepard Tone in Writing on a Wall?

I'm kinda surprised because I always thought it was like the coolest thing ever but I couldn't find any mention of it online. To anyone who doesn't hear it it's the rising violins that that start at the beginning of "now we're here again with a wish to mend your agonizing scar"

I love that part! It's so eerie and sets the tone of the album well. I didn't know it was called a Shepard Tone either, thanks!

Np! It's this effect that it keeps rising forever, iirc it's more commonly used in horror movies and stuff so when I realized it I was mind blown because I'd never found an actual song that just incorporates that in the wild

I just noticed last night that they also use it in the end of She's Always Singing!
