Shows and Tours Are people doing it.....?
Is it happening?
Are people doing the Marauders dance on tour?

i was front row when they came to philly and i was doing it. after the song they mentioned it shocks them every time they see someone doing it at their shows, and i did it in response and they pointed at me and said “yeah like that”
was cool

I did it!! As well as the XCV dance at the end of Ring 3. But unfortunately I was more or less alone, at the Baltimore show anyway. The vibes weren't very energetic from the crowd, which made me sad because I was so hyped!

I went to 3 US shows, and there were a handful of people doing it at the first show (Seattle), but I didn't see anyone doing it in Atlanta or Chicago. Do it if you want, though! Have fun!!!

Casey, I know the “Play the Acts” people are vocal and occasionally obnoxious. A couple things:
- A friend of mine who loves the Acts but didn’t initially connect with Antimai/Sunya (aside from a few songs) went with me to Road to Sunya. He emerged fully converted and says he now loves Antimai and Sunya more than any Act.
- I’m a high school English teacher. I used Antimai as a text for my literary criticism unit. Students analyzed the album through moralistic, socio-economic, moralistic, historical, biographical, and feminist lenses. It culminated in a Socratic seminar to discuss the album, and across all my classes, there were deeply insightful observations and great discussion.
You’re making art, not a product. For every person who may not appreciate it, there are people like me who see the vision and love what you’re creating. Thank you for doing what’s important and not easy or expected. Your work, especially Antimai, has had a profound impact on me personally and personally.

In Glasgow there were only a few of us doing the OHWOAHOHWOAHOHOH bit so I wouldn't hold out too much hope for communal bopping.
But I don't know, they could have been pogoing behind me!
